Abhimanyu's sleek Lamborghini roared to a stop in front of the grand university building. Stepping out, he adjusted his designer sunglasses, a mischievous grin playing on his lips. Heads turned as he sauntered across the campus, a whirlwind of charisma and expensive cologne.

His entourage of friends, a motley crew of lively characters, awaited him under the shade of a sprawling oak tree. There was Sam, the tech whiz with a perpetually bewildered expression; Chris, the flamboyant drama student whose laughter echoed across the quad; Sid, the quiet observer with a dry wit; Aman, the international playboy with a twinkle in his eye; Jay, the ever-competitive athlete; and Sanjana, the sharp-tongued beauty with a heart of gold.

A collective groan arose as they spotted Abhi. "Fashionably late, Malhotra?" Sanjana drawled, her voice dripping with mock sarcasm.

Abhi winked, unfazed. "Just making a grand entrance, darling. Besides, the ladies appreciate the wait."

His words were met with a chorus of jeers and playful shoves. Despite his arrogant facade, Abhi cherished these moments with his friends. They were his family away from home, a constant source of laughter and camaraderie.

As they settled into their usual spot, Abhi regaled them with tales of his wild night, embellishing the details for comedic effect. His friends, used to his antics, whooped and hollered, their laughter echoing through the air.

Little did they know, fate was brewing a surprise for Abhimanyu, a surprise that wouldn't involve late nights and extravagant parties.  Across the campus, amidst a sea of students, a different story was unfolding, a story that would soon intertwine with Abhi's, forever altering the course of their lives.
.

The final semester had ended, and a wave of relief washed over the friends as they gathered under their usual oak tree. The sun dappled through the leaves, casting playful shadows on their faces.

"Freedom at last!" Chris declared, throwing his arms wide dramatically. "What are we gonna do with all this glorious free time?"

Abhi, ever the center of attention, leaned back against the tree trunk. "The world is our oyster, my friends. But…" he drawled, a playful glint in his eyes, "suggestions tend to bore me."

Sanjana, the ever-organized one, chimed in, "France? The museums, the food, the romance…"

Abhi scoffed. "Too cliché, Sanjana. Been there, done that."

Sam, the techie, piped up, his voice laced with excitement. "How about Iceland? Land of the Northern Lights and glaciers!"

Abhi shook his head. "Beautiful, I'll give you that, but freezing my butt off isn't exactly my idea of fun."

The suggestions flew back and forth – Chris with his flamboyant suggestion of a wild Australian adventure, Aman's daring trek through the Amazon rainforest, even Jay proposed a grueling physical challenge somewhere exotic. Abhi, however, remained unimpressed, rejecting each idea with a playful critique.

Frustration began to simmer amongst the group. "Come on, Abhi," Sid, the quiet observer, finally spoke, "give us something to work with!"

Abhi, unfazed by their growing exasperation, simply grinned. He strolled over to the nearby library, his movements imbued with a casual confidence. Moments later, he emerged, a large, dusty globe cradled in his arms.

A mischievous glint sparked in his eyes. "Alright, alright," he conceded with a dramatic sigh. "Since none of you can come up with anything inspiring, let fate decide."

With a flourish, he spun the globe, his finger hovering playfully over the spinning continents. Everyone held their breath, anticipation hanging heavy in the air. The globe slowed, then stopped, Abhi's finger landing squarely on a random spot.

A hush fell over the group as Abhi peered at the spot. A slow smile spread across his face. "Well, well, well," he murmured, a hint of excitement creeping into his voice. "Looks like we're going on a European adventure, after all. But not just any European adventure…" He paused, letting the suspense build, "we're going to…"

"...Switzerland!" Abhi declared, a triumphant grin spreading across his face. A collective gasp rippled through his friends. Switzerland, the land of breathtaking scenery, charming villages, and of course, luxurious ski resorts, was a far cry from the usual party destinations they frequented.

Sanjana, ever the voice of reason, arched an eyebrow. "Switzerland, Abhi? Are you sure? It's beautiful, don't get me wrong, but not exactly the place for wild adventures."

Abhi winked. "Who says we can't have some adventure in Switzerland, Sanjana? Maybe it's time to trade nightclubs for mountain hikes and casinos for breathtaking views. Besides," he added, a sly smile playing on his lips, "I hear the girls there are quite lovely."

His friends groaned, used to his womanizing ways. But a spark of curiosity flickered in their eyes. Switzerland, with its promise of stunning landscapes and a slower pace, offered a unique opportunity for a change.

"Alright, Malhotra," Chris conceded, a hint of excitement in his voice. "You win. Switzerland it is. But if there's no decent nightlife, I'm holding you personally responsible."

The group erupted in laughter, the initial frustration replaced by a sense of lighthearted adventure. Little did they know, their trip to Switzerland would be more than just a scenic escape. It would be the catalyst for a chance encounter, a meeting that would change the course of their lives forever.

Across the vast distance,  Kunj was also making plans for the summer, unaware that his path was about to collide with Abhimanyu's in the heart of Switzerland.
