Third person POV

1 year later,

Today's a very special day for jungkook, 29th December. Jungkook was eagerly waiting for this day, on this day the love of his life will come back to him and it's also his birthday tomorrow. Jungkook was in his appartment, decorating the house beautifully, it's Taehyung's appartment actually, where jungkook live now.

1 year before taehyung left korea promising that he'll come back in a year. Jungkook leave the college early and start preparing everything for the elder. Jungkook look at the clock, it's 4 pm already, Taehyung's flight will land 6pm.

In those days, many things changed. After 3 months Tae-hee died, yoojung also transferred to another city, yoongi was now handling business with his father and was in a relationship with jimin. But what mainly change is taehyung, after he left he used to call jungkook in every 2 or 3 days but that only continued for 6 months, then suddenly taehyung stopped calling jungkook. Jungkook thought he was busy but then he decided to trust taehyung and wait for him.

Also after TAE-HEE'S death, juwon put the mansion on sale again, at first jungkook try to stop him but when juwon ask him if he was going to stay there, jungkook couldn't answer because he knew he can't leave there alone.

Taehyung has also become famous in the business world, as a businessman he sometimes appears on TV. And taehyung being famous and not contacting jungkook was making jungkook more nervous, he was slightly scared if taehyung has move on from him.

After the decoration jungkook was sleeping on the couch when the door bell rang, jungkook open the door seeing the person he was expecting.

JK: what finally, i thought you're not coming jimin.

JM: why wouldn't I? Come on it's already 5:30pm, let's go.

JK: umm I'm not going, you pick him up. I'll stay here, I need to get ready for his welcome, I'm so excited jimin, finally after an year I'll see him again.

JM: you look so happy, i wish this happiness is permanent.

Jimin went to his car and drove to the airport. After 30 minutes the plane has already landed, but jimin couldn't find taehyung, so he call him.

The phone continued ringing, no one recieve the call. Jimin become tense, thinking how much jungkook will be hurt. Jimin continuously call taehyung but failed get in touch with him.

Jungkook POV

I was all ready to surprise taehyung, it's already past 7 pm, they'll be soon here. I haven't seen him  almost a year. He will be also happy to see me just like me. I keep waiting for another hour but still they aren't here. Where did they go? Did jimin took him to the kim mansion first?

After a while which feels like a year to me, finally someone knock on the door, he has arrived. OMG,  I'm looking good right? I quickly see myself in the mirror to check if everything was okay. Then I run to open the door, as i open it widely I see jimin was standing there, he's looking s-sad? Is he acting right now? But I want to see taehyung. I look past him, but no one was there, i sudden fear falter my smile.

JK: jimin, where's taehyung? I don't see him.

JM: h...he did-didn't come.

JK: oh, he went to his house then, it's okay i know he'll come to see me.

JM: jungkook, he didn't come back.

JK: yeah, i understand. He's with his parents, he has been away from them, I know he miss them. I'll meet him tomorrow, no worries. I know he miss me, he'll co-

JM: JUNGKOOK SNAP OUT OF IT, HE DIDN'T CONE BACK FROM USA.

JK: No, this is not true. He said he'll come, he-he didn't forgot me right?

JM: no jungkook, he can never forget you, he'll co-

JK: THEN WHERE'S HE?

I'm losing my mind, he can't do the same thing again please. I pully hair in frustration.

JM: jungkook calm down please,

JK: LEAVE ME ALONE! PLEASE!

When jimin left I drop myself on the sofa, I'm so tired of this, tired of waiting. Why everything's so unfair to me? I cried till the midnight, i dried my tears and got up, i take out the cake from the fridge and place it on the table, i wanted him to cut this cake but I think I'm alone again.

I cut the cake and clap for him.

JK: happy birthday taehyung, i miss you. I'm angry now but if waiting for you is in my fate, so be it, I'll wait taehyung, please come back quickly.

I spent the night alone again.

Next day I was watching tv as I saw a channel was replying one of Taehyung's interview.  The MC was asking him random questions.

MC: Mr Kim, what about your love life? Have you already found the one for you?

TH: umm, it's kind of personal but I can only tell that , you'll know when I give them the ring. Until then, no comments.

MC laugh at his answer and said again

MC: but Mr Kim, a rumour has spread about you and some reporters has spotted you in a restaurant with a girl named Ellen? According to the media, is it true that you're dating her?

What the hell? You damn cheater!

I quickly turn of the tv, it'll only make me more angry.
