[JEONGHAN'S POV]
We were all sitting around the counter together eating dinner. It was quiet, probably because I was there but I don't know what to say to make it less awkward.
I saw movement in the corner of my eyes making me look up to see chan whispering something to maddie. I stared at them until they finished and saw her smiling ear to ear. She placed her head on the table amd started laughing
"Yah, what's happening?" Mingyu said nudging maddie. I looked at them also wanting to know what happened. What did he say that could get her smiling and laughing like that?
She looked up pushing her back while still smiling. Gosh she's so beautiful.
She leaned over to mingyu and whispered something in his ear, I watched as his eyes shifted to me as a smile slowly formed on his face
They were talking about me huh?
Mingyu chuckled and turned to chan "You're crazy, why are you shy?"
Chan covered his face and started whining into his palms "Stop teasing me about it gosh!"
Mingyu turned to me and chuckled "how old are you sir? This kid wants to know but he's abit shy"
Oh, he wants to know how old I am. I turned to him and smiled "I'm october 1995, so 27. 28 soon"
Chan removed his face from his palm and nodded "call me hyung with you want, I don't mind. This angel" I said pointing to maddie "calls me by my name, so be comfortable"
Mingyu and chan looked at each other and nodded smiling. "He was scared that if he talked to the boss comfortably then he'll get fired before even starting" mingyu chuckled making maddie join as chan started whinning at them
"Ah no, please do be comfortable. Having your boss eat dinner with you is super awkward. If you guys wanna talk to eachother then go for it. I'll just sit here and listen" I smiled reassuring them that me being here shouldn't be a bother to them because I want them to be comfortable with me. I want maddie's friends to like me.
"Can I ask how you two met?" Mingyu said out of no where. Maddie looked up at me.
I smiled and looked down at the food infront of me "uh" maddie uttered.
"My bestfriend shua owns the university and She's a top student there. That's how I know her." Mingyu made an 'ahhh' expression understanding and smiled.
"Thats cool" mingyu said and I smiled looking at maddie "I thought you two had a thing or something haha" mingyu added scratching his nape nervously. I turned to him and chuckled and looked back at maddie again.
