Seungmin chuckled nervously,
"What are you saying, Jongho-ya..."
He's lost hope in escaping this place a long time ago.
He used to have roommates in the same room he and Jongho were currently in, they all tried to escape but only to fail and get killed.
It's not that he didn't want to, but he's terrified of what might happen to him, and that includes Jongho as well, he cared for him because he was the only friend Seungmin had that was still alive.
Choi Jongho was also an Omega like him, but he worked diligently for the Alphas that managed the organization so he wasn't taken advantage of.
Because unlike Seungmin, he was bulky and muscular.
"It's as I said, I can help you escape. It's the perfect time since most of the Alphas are away for an event. There's less security tonight."
Jongho had a determined look on his face and the other Omega couldn't help but worry,
"I'm fine, okay? You don't need to put yourself at risk for this..."
Seungmin looked at him with a reassuring smile, his eyes filled with concern, knowing Jongho, he doesn't give up easily.
"Don't give me that. You're not fine, Seungmin-ah. Trust me, please. I want to help you."
He gently grabs Seungmin's left hand, pulling him up from the bed-infested ants.
Jongho looks back at the door that he left opened, then gestured for Seungmin to keep quiet.
"Jongho-ya, I'm not really sure about this..."
The taller but skinnier Omega mumbled, worry overflowing from his tone as he kept a tight grip on the other's hand.
He didn't get a reply, but he followed Jongho.
He trusted him, but he was still worried.
A few minutes of quietly and cautiously walking through the halls of rooms, he felt a tap on his hand,
Seungmin looked down to see Jongho handing him over a pocket knife.
He hesitantly took it and looked at his friend.
"Keep that. I know you're not one to be violent but it's for self-defense once we can get you to escape."
"Get me to escape," Seungmin paused before his eyebrows furrowed a few seconds later, "You're.. gonna come with me, right?"
And once again, he didn't get an answer.
That only made Seungmin more anxious than he already is.
Was Jongho planning on continuing on with his life here?
Even if he gets to escape this horrible place, what if Jongho gets caught by those Alphas?
His mind was filled with negative thoughts, concerned for Jongho's well-being,
And as far as he knew, Jongho wasn't on good terms with other Omegas who work here like him.
So, like him, Jongho only had Seungmin like how Seungmin only had Jongho.
"We'll escape together, right Jongho-ya?"
"Shh."
Seungmin shut his mouth when Jongho stopped walking when they reached the end of the hall.
The shorter Omega peeked at the corner of the wall.
There were only dim light opened since it was midnight.
Jongho tightly gripped Seungmin's hand while his other held a taser in his pocket.
Rendering the area clear, they continued walking.
"Hey, I'm sorry, but.."
Jongho looked back at Seungmin who was quietly panting, his legs slightly trembling, looking like he had a hard time trying to breath in air.
Oh, right...
He had momentarily forgotten how fragile his friend was.
Jongho let go of his hand and instead wrapped an arm around his shoulder, supporting his weight,
"I don't think I'll be able to carry you, but we can't stop now, someone might catch us."
"This much is good.. thank you."
Seungmin smiled in gratitude, leaning into the other Omega as they continued walking.
Jongho showed him a small smile that Seungmin always adored.
They loved each other's smile.
Seungmin is really open with his affection and just casually shoots Jongho compliments,
While it was quite the opposite for Jongho.
The slightly younger Omega felt awkward giving compliments, or just openly showing affection at all, but he shows it well with actions and Seungmin knows that.
Seungmin knows Jongho loves him as much he loves Jongho.
They might not be blood-related but they're brothers at heart.
