Brief History: Yuyan was born and raised in China as an only child in a family of hulu makers. A demon attacked them one night, causing the death of her parents, and she swore to follow that demon and eradicate them all to avenge her parents. It was easier for her to flee to Japan since she lived in the part that was closest to Japan demographically.
Personality: mbti: ESTP
Yuyan is very empathetic, and has a fast ability to understand and learn. Despite her young age among hashiras, she's very coolheaded and doesn't like to show too many negative emotions. Taking care of others is something she enjoys doing so she helps Shinobu out at the Butterfly Mansion.
Weapon used: Nunchucks
Since one of her arms can barely move, it is hard for her to grip a sword, so she uses nunchucks. The whole weapon is made of Nichirin ore. Inside the cylinder are hidden blades that can pop out of the tip of the nunchucks. The wire of the weapon is extendable and can stretch out to around 3 meters long. The compartment made for holding the nunchucks is similar that the one Iguro has, it has magnets that allow it to close and open easily, and there is a box inside containing wisteria poison, so that it can be used in battle.
Interesting Facts:
- Yuyan's nunchucks are made by Tecchin, the one who made Mitsuri's sword
- She has incredible precision in her hits, and comes first in terms of object manipulation.
- Yuyan has the fastest reaction time among all Hashiras
- She has a big appetite, and only loses to Mitsuri in an eating contest. She can devour over 200 takoyakis in one meal
- Because of her very down-to-earth nature, it's very hard to win an argument against her (althought she rarely argues with anyone)
- Yuyan learned the Japanese language in the span of three months, showcasing how fast her learning abilities are
