My name is Jax Cleaves, twenty years old, a knight that is assigned to the guard and safety of a village.
When their new arrival knights also give orders the same as mine, but theirs is one problematic.
Her name is Knight Kaira, she is kinda short tempered, short sighted, and a fan of violence and she matches up to be his mentor to teach and explain what's our duty here.
I show around the village to Knight Kaira to where the barracks, village chief house and where her route is if she starts to patrol the village.
When I decided that that's all she needed to know and suddenly some drunk villager bumped my shoulder to his and got angry, complaining and said, "Are you blind or yo..you want some piece of me, stupid knight!"
I replied to him while keeping my calm composure and then bow, "I apologize, it's my mistake, sir...?"
The drunk villager split at me, "Tsk, get out of my way you stupid knights."
When Knight Kaira was about to pull her sword, I stop her immediately.
"Don't worry, it's fine"
"Bu..but he split at you, Sir Jax."
"Like I said it's fine I'm okay so stop pulling your sword, Knight Kaira."
After some minutes had passed the drunk villager decided to go home.
Knight Kaira asked me why I didn't fight back at the drunk villager and let it split at me and I answered her with another question.
"what's our duty, Knight Kaira?"
Knight Kaira replied, "To ensure the villagers safety and protect their village, Sir!"
I smile at her because she quickly remembers my teaching before.
"Always remember this Knight Kaira, we are all here to make them safe not to hurt them because we are stronger unlike them."
As the days passed, Knight Kaira started to understand the importance of patience and restraint in dealing with the villagers. She began to see that violence was not always the answer and that there were other ways to resolve conflicts.
I watched as Knight Kaira matured before my eyes, becoming a more responsible and compassionate knight. She started to gain the respect of the villagers and her fellow knights, proving herself to be a valuable member of the guard.
One day, a group of bandits attacked the village, causing chaos and destruction. Knight Kaira and I fought side by side, protecting the villagers and driving the bandits away.
After the battle, Knight Kaira approached me with a grateful smile on her face. "Thank you, Sir Jax, for teaching me the true meaning of being a knight. I couldn't have done it without you."
I smiled back at her, proud of how far she had come. "You have grown into a more mature knight, Knight Kaira. I am honored to have been your mentor."
And so, Knight Kaira continued to serve the village with courage and compassion, always remembering the lessons she had learned from her mentor, Sir Jax Cleaves. Together, they stood as guardians of the village, ready to face whatever challenges came their way.
