Chapter - 4

[Thrishala's POV]

"Yes a marriage contract with a time period of three years" I said and became red with shame .

I looked at his face and saw hurt , disappointment , but why will he be feeling that .Was he diasappointed because its not buisness or anything ? I don't know and I didn't want to know too.

He didn't reply just stared at my face with unreadable expressions.

"I need a good reason to break off things with Dhruv otherwise our companies will declare war against each other and if it's you they wont , an-d and I heard that you won't get to inheirt the company unless you marry , so its a win-win sitution for both of us . It's just for 3yrs after that we will divorce and go our seperate ways ya that's it " I just babbled on , wow Thrishala way to make an impression .

"How did you know about the inheirtance thing , Thrishala?" he said , his face filled with suspicion. Damn he called my name not princess which made feelings of hurt sweep through me.

"Uh- oh that my grandfather heard it from yours" I lied , well its technically true . It just hasn't happend in this timeline.

"Mmm so what made you think of me after all these years ? You never had problems with Dhruv and his cheating habits all thses years" he asked.

"Well everyone gets tired right , anyway will you agree to this deal?" I said hoping that he would.

He was thinking and when I sensed he may say no , " Here , this is the contract" I gave him the contract that I made which included rules ,time period, divorce settlement , PDA etc. Just 3 rules.

"Wow this is well made , Rule 1. Do not intefere in each other's personal life" he started reading out the rules loudly which made me cringe.

"Rule 2. Both parties are merely partners and showing PDA will be discussed beforehand"he said and asked " What's PDA?" he smirked.

"Public Display of Affection " I was said he already knew that and just asked to tease me.

"Rule 3. No feelings and after the time period both parties will go there seperate ways"he laughed.

Damn , that was the most beautiful laugh I have ever seen . The way his eyes cringed while he laugh made me feel butterflies. As I remembered my purpose those butterflies burned to ashes.

"Ha ya so do you have anything you need to add , any rules" I asked awakrdly.

"I didn't agree to this now have I , princess" he said while putting emphasis on princess. I looked at him, confusion and fear of rejection creep onto my face.

"Haha don't worry I like this contract  and I want to add one more rule " he smirked.

"Of course" I said.

"Rule 4 . Both parties should refrain having other relationships and should fulfill all husband wife duties during the time period" he said calmly.

"Of course anything you want" I said without thinking and we signed the contract.

I felt excited as well as anxious.

" So is that it , our contract?" He asked.

"Yes and we may have to act like a loving couple as my grandfather wants me to marry for love I am sure your parents also will like that , let's say that you met me at a conference and you fell in love with me okay"  I said.

"Of course princess, we will do as you say and my parents will surely like it" he smirked.

We winded up our conversation after discussing the essential things and decided to announce the news of our dating and marriage after 3 days.

I sent a message to Dhruv to break the news and I felt satisfied at my plan.

Druv is gonna be angry but I don't care as what he did to me or will do to me is much worse.

I am gonna take them all one by one .
Now that our marrige is cancelled his position at his father's company will be lost and his brother will get the company.

But Dhruv if you think I am gonna stop with this you are wrong . I am gonna make you suffer as you made me. Not only you, Shreya and Jayshree everyone who destroyed my family is gonna suffer.

I know someone was behind them as Jayshree , Druv are not brilliant enough to excute this plan for this long time without anyone catching .

Someone who hates my family must be supporting them .

I am gonna find out who it is and I will be careful as not to let them find out that I am aware of their plan .

I am gonna save my grandfather.

I am gonna save me .

And I will step on anyone who stands on my way..
