Chapter-7

[Thrishala POV]

I went down to the cafe wearing black chikankari with mom jeans , my hair left open and my eyes adored with kajal and some nude lipstick.

I reached five minutes earlier than the promised time and was waiting for Yudaansh , also ordered my favourite chocolate shake with some spicy snacks.

I am not usually a foodie person but my nerves were kicking in and I had to calm down before making a stupid mistake in front of him.

I don't know why but I always embarrass myself when I am with him. He has the power to destroy the walls around my heart. He can't and I won't allow it .

My memories with him from childhood are vague as I want to keep all those memories hidden and never reopen it. I am pretty sure he also has forgotten it I mean it was like when he was nine or something, why should he remember a short brief encounter which even I can't remember .

I wonder why he agreed to this plan. I had much more to lose than him.
Just like in the past timeline he could never be married or does he have any other reason ?

Well whatever his reason is ,it worked out better for me. Revenge is my goal.
There is no space for anything else but the way he calls me a princess is just so ....nothing Thrishala, no useless thoughts.

As I wandered between my thoughts I saw a man with dark black hair swept to his left , clad in a black armani suit , his presence so powerful that everyone's attention directly went on him . His eyes meet mine and a small smile , slightly showing his dimple near his chin.
My heart skipped a beat.
Thud..thud..thud...I could hear my heart beating. This is dangerous .

"Hello princess" he said in his deep voice . I have never seen him smiling except with his family . Online he was described as a cold and cruel man who was ruthless to his business rivals and betrayers.
But this man in front of me is not the one I have heard but the one I have seen. We didn't have contact for many years then why?
" Hellooo" he said waving his hand over me and I realised I was staring at him . I became red with embarrassment.
" Uh sorry hi- I was thinking about something else" my voice breaking . My face is probably covered in blush , damn it.

"Ya thought so seeing how you were keenly checking me out" he chuckled.
Damn, fuck , his chuckle just sent a bunch of butterflies shot inside my stomach.

The waiter came with my order saving me from further embrassment.
" For you kind information I was not checking you out and let's keep this formal " I coldly said drawing a line between us. I saw his face droop a little which tugged my heart strings.
But this is important between us or else this will be dangerous.

He didn't say anything else and just sat on the table ordering himself a coffee.
The air between us was tense and I broke the silence.
" So did you tell about our marrige to your family" I asked.
" Yes " his reply was cold and short indicating his anger.
" Okay so I am thinking our engagement to be next week" I said.
" As you wish " he said .

Suddenly a flash light blinded my eyes and click.. a sound was heard.
I saw a man clicking our photo and when he saw me watching him he ran out of the cafe.

Damn it , we cannot be seen together until the official press release by Yudaansh's PR team.
I totally forgot that and I never thought someone might be interested in us. Just because Yudaansh is a king and me a princess doesn't necessarily mean that we are celebrities who have paparazzi following us.

" Yudaansh somone just took out photos" I said.
This was a stupid mistake from my part.
" What really damn it must already be released online , let me call my PR manager." He said.

I quickly took my phone out and opened social media , there it is in big letters , words that cause a commotion in the political as well as business world.
