2 Weeks Later....

It's been 2 weeks, since Kalpi's started working for Raghav and Raghav could not be happier at the whole thing. It gave him a chance to be close to Kalpi most of the day, except lunch which she will be with Pakhi and the end of the day. A soft knock sounded the door " come in " Raghav said, " sir.." Kalpi said softly and she came in " yes..." Raghav said lightly, Kalpi looked at him " I need you sign these " Kalpi smiled and handed him the file, " sure " Raghav smiled and took the files and looked though them before signing, " here " Raghav smiled as he passed the file back to Kalpi, " thank you " Kalpi smiled and took it, " how is the Metha project coming along ? " Raghav asked, " almost finished " Kalpi said, Raghav lifted his eyebrow in amusement " you work fast Ms. Jadhav......I like it " Raghav smirked and sat back in his chair, Kalpi smirked " thank you " Kalpi said and walked out.

Kalpi was typing away when Pakhi came to her desk " Kalpi...you ready for tonight ? " Pakhi asked excitedly, Kalpi looked at Pakhi " for what ? " Kalpi asked, " aare....Priya ki sangeet !!! " Pakhi said excitedly, " that's tonight ? " Kalpi asked in shock, " oh man...I totally forgot " Kalpi said, " hey chill....it's ok. We'll leave early " Pakhi smiled, Kalpi smiled and nodded. When the end of the day rolled by, Pakhi and Kalpi were happy, " finally " Pakhi said as she looped her arms in Kalpi's and pulled her to the lift, Kalpi chuckled, just then the lift arrived and Kalpi and Pakhi got in, " I'm so excited about tonight " Pakhi said happily, " Pakhi...your always excited " Kalpi giggled, " true..." Pakhi said and Kalpi laughed and shook her head.

They drove to the chawl, " I'll pick you up in an hour ok " Pakhi smiled, " ok " Kalpi smiled and got out, she waved goodbye and Pakhi and headed upstairs to her chawl to get ready. When Kalpi reached her chawl, she saw Prem sitting on the swing, " Prem ? " Kalpi asked, " hey Kalpi... " Prem smiled, " what are you doing here ? " Kalpi asked sitting beside him " just thinking " Prem said, " about ? " Kalpi asked, " this whole mess that my parents caused " Prem said, " hey don't beat yourself up for this. It's not your fault " Kalpi said, " I know. But being the eldest and a son....I feel it's my fault " Prem said as he blew out a long breath and looked up, " why don't you talk to Raghav ? and explain that your not like your parents " Kalpi suggested, " like he'll listen to me. He hates me Kalpi " Prem said, " that's because he does not know you. Maybe you can help...by being like an informant or some sort ? " Kalpi said, " like a spy ? " Prem asked amusedly, " maybe " Kalpi giggled, " I have to rush..today is Priya's sangeet, and Pakhi will be coming later " Kalpi said standing up, " have fun " Prem smiled, Kalpi nodded and went into her chawl.

" wow...this is so beautiful " Pakhi said happily as she looked around the hall, " I know...Priya did good " Sanju smiled, Kalpi nodded " come on..let's go find the bride " Kalpi winked, and all three giggle as they went to find the bride. " there she is !!! " Pakhi said happily, Priya blushed " oh my god she's blushing " Sanju teased as she pinched Priya's cheeks, " stop it yaar " Priya said in embarrassment. " come on...lets dance " Pakhi said pulling Kalpi and Sanju to the dance floor and dancing. Kalpi laughed as she dance to the song, " I'm feeling a little thirsty...I'll be back " Kalpi said as walked to the drink section. Kalpi was getting a drink when her phone rang " hello ? " Kalpi answered, " oh Kalpi beti, its me Gauri taai " Gauri said on the other line, " hai taai...what can I do for you ? " Kalpi asked as she walked out of the noisy hall, " oh Kalpi beti, I hope I'm not disturbing " Gauri said, " no...its ok " Kalpi smiled, " I forgot to pass something to your aai that day, I was hoping you can come and get it ? if it too late its ok ? " Gauri said, " no its ok taai...I'm actually out now...I'll be there in an hour ? " Kalpi asked, " ok..thank you beti " Gauri said, " no problem taai " Kalpi smiled and hung up and walked back to the hall.

" you sure your ok ? " Pakhi asked as she parked her car in front of Raghav's villa, " yeah...I'm fine " Kalpi smiled and got out " call when you get home...and if you need me to pick you up just call " Pakhi said, " I will aai " Kalpi teased, Pakhi smiled and drove off. Kalpi looked at the house in front of her and walked up the door and rang the doorbell. Moments later Gauri opened the door " Kalpi...." Gauri smiled and hugged her " come in " Gauri said and she ushered Kalpi in and closed the door, " my your looking very beautiful " Gauri smiled, Kalpi looked at herself, " oh I was at a friend's sangeet " Kalpi smiled, " oh dear...did I take you away from there ? " Gauri asked feeling guilty, " no its ok taai " Kalpi smiled. They talked for awhile, then Gauri left to get the stuff for Kamala. Gauri came down with a bag " oh wow " Kalpi said, " what is it ? " Kalpi asked looking inside, " some spices from the States. I wanted to give them to your aai, but I forgot " Gauri smiled, Kalpi smiled and looked inside the back, " excuse me beti, Raghav wanted water. " Gauri said and went to the kitchen, Kalpi looked though the spices and smiled. Just then the house phone rang " who is that calling now ? " Gauri asked as she was preparing to walk up the stairs, " taai...I'll give him, you answer the phone " Kalpi smiled as she took the glass of water " oh thank you beti...it's the 2nd door to the left " Gauri said, Kalpi nodded and headed up the stairs.

Kalpi came up to Raghav's bedroom door. Taking deep breath, Kalpi gently knocked the door and waited. When there was no answer, Kalpi slowly opened the door and peeked in " sir ? " Kalpi called out softly as she looked around the empty room. Kalpi quietly closed the door and walked up to the bedside " shall I put it here ? " Kalpi thought, shrugging her shoulders Kalpi placed the glass on the bedside table. She was about to leave when a picture caught her eye. Kalpi slowly picked up the picture frame and looked at it. Kalpi smiled and the picture, its was a picture of them when they were young, " he still has it " Kalpi thought as she smiled and gently glided her finger over the picture.

Raghav came out of the shower as saw Kalpi in his bedroom looking at the picture. Raghav smiled and slowly walked up to Kalpi and stood behind her. " its my favorite" Raghav whispered in her ear, Kalpi gently placed the picture back at its spot on the bedside table, " your water " Kalpi said and turned to walked out, but Raghav caught her hand. Kalpi turned around and looked at him, who was still looking at the picture. Kalpi slowly walked back to him, " kiya hua ? " Kalpi asked, Raghav shook his head and looked at her and smiled. Raghav wrapped his arms around Kalpi and pulled her close and leaned his forehead against her. Kalpi closed her eyes and leaned against him. " Kalpi I have something to say to you " Raghav whispered, " kiya ? " Kalpi asked softly, Raghav opened his eyes and looked at her, " I love you " Raghav whispered. Kalpi looked at him, " I always have... " Raghav whispered. Kalpi smiled and hugged him. Raghav wrapped his arms tightly around her. Kalpi smiled and hugged him tighter. After sometime, Raghav broke off the hug and looked at her, he cupped her face in his and leaned in for a kiss, Kalpi placed her fingers on his lips to stop him, Raghav looked at her in confusion, Kalpi blushed shyly and shook her head. Raghav smiled behind her finger and kissed her fingers, and slowly kissed her palm and knuckles. Kalpi giggled when Raghav kissed her palm.

After sometime, Raghav looked at Kalpi " I have said my feelings. But I have not heard yours " Raghav said, Kalpi smirked " you will. But not now " Kalpi said, " kiya ? kyun ? " Raghav asked, " no reason. " Kalpi smirked, " Kalpi...." Raghav started, " I have to go...it's getting late " Kalpi said and quickly rushed out of the bedroom, leaving Raghav there dumbfounded. Quickly shaking it off, Raghav rushed out of his room and quickly ran downstairs where his mom was " mom...Kalpi kaha ? " Raghav asked frantically, " oh she just left " Gauri said " kiya hua beta ? " Gauri asked, " kiya ? " Raghav asked in a daze, " kiya hua beta ? is something wrong ? " Gauri asked. Raghav looked at his mom and shook his head, " no .. everything fine. Good night mom " Raghav said and went back upstairs. Raghav walked into his room and went to sit on his bed, " Kalpi....why do you do this to me ? " Raghav asked and flung himself on the bed.

Kalpi lay in bed thinking about what Raghav said to her. A smiled grew on her lips, but quickly faded " he is defiantly going to ask me again tomorrow " Kalpi said shaking her head and chuckled, " well...we'll see " Kalpi smirked and closed her eyes and drifted off to Cloud 9.
