You: (walk in)

Devon: balloon!! (Reaching)

You: can you get that Chloe?

Chloe: (gives him the balloon)

Ray: (walking downstairs) messing up my decorations huh?

You: It's his Birthday.

Ray: (laughs) I know.(walks over to you and get Devon) in just playing. (Looks at you) Hey can you make my ponytail look sexy.

You: (look at him) Roc. I mean Ray can you please just let this be Dev's day?

Ray: what? It's a crime for a girl to do her ex's hair?

You: (look at him) just let me...let me get the cake. it's out there with Kayla. (Walks out)

-15 minutes later-

You: (sitting on the sofa)

Ray: (walks in with a brush and rubber band)

You: (take a deep breath)

Kayla: (peeps over her phone)

Ray: See I want to keep theses curls at the end.

You: (nod)

Ray: (sits down in front of you)

You: (reach down and get the bus out his hand)

Ray: (whispering) you look nice today.

You: (pause then sit back up and start brushing his hair)

You: Heyyy.(hugs Kiki)

Kiki: Kate's out front girl.

You: really?

Kiki: (nods)

You: (go outside)

Kate: (standing looking around)

You: (smile then walk up to her) Hey.

Kate: y/n.(hugs you)

You: thanks for coming.

Kate: I thought i might as well tell him today. At Least he can't blow up.

You: (laugh) hey Brian. (Tickles him)

Brian: (laughs)

You: he's so adorable.

Kate: thanks. I've been looking for the birthday boy and Zoe and Chloe.

You: I think Ray's mom has Dev. And Chloe and Zoey are running around her somewhere.

Kate: (looks around)

Zoey: (running up behind you) mom. Where's your phone?

You: Zoey have fun. That's the reason u told yall to leave the iPads.

Zoey: (looks at Kate)

You: you remember her?

Zoey: (looking)

Zoey: is that your son?
