THE LEGACY

Part 2

Virat was sitting in his room surrounded by darkness and was feeling very lonely. He was very broken a little bit from the accusation but what broke him more was that his brothers, his chosen family didn't trust him. He was there with everyone in their bad time but now when he looks around he has no one to rely on.

Anushka entered in his room by the spare key she got from the receptionist because he wasn't answering her calls neither the team was. She was very worried about Virat when she saw the news. The first thing she did was book a ticket to Ahmedabad from Mumbai. She got late because the only flight was available was at 5 pm. She didn't hurry vey much because she was eight months pregnant and she knew that the team was going to be there with him. 

But what she didn't expect to see was Virat alone in his room. She immediately rushed to him and hugged him. When she didn't saw the team in the room she thought they went out of the room now or Virat didn't let them enter in the room. 

''Bubs are you okay, why did you not pick up any of my calls, I was very worried about you and even the team didn't pick up my calls?'' asked Anu

''They don't trust me Nush they are saying I betrayed my country I swear I didn't do anything please trust me Anu'' said the broken Vi while sobbing 

''I trust you Vi I know you can't do anything like this'' said Anu

Anushka couldn't see this version of Virat it hurts her more then anyone can imagine. She helps Virat to sleep and she went to talk with the team. She entered the room to see the whole team and Mahi sitting there .
"How could you all do this trust the outsider and not your brother the one who was always with you all" yelled Anushka

"Because we are not blind like you we can see the truth" said Rohit

"Are you also part of it because after all he is your husband " questioned Rahul
Anushka was standing there listening to their accusations one by one because all of them had to say something.

''I'm not going to say anything to you all because if you don't trust then what's the need to say, But listen to carefully once he is proved innocent I will not let anyone from you all near him and trust me on this because I will do it'' saying this Anushka left the room 

 For the first time after the news the team was thinking about it what if he's innocent and they did a grave mistake by not trusting him no no he did it there are proof also all of them thought but didn't say it to others.

After coming out of the room Anushka was thinking of how to prove her Vi innocent and it's double work now because she has to take care of vi and prove him innocent her trance was broken from her phone ringing showing the contact ''bir'' on it .

''Nushkie I saw the news how is Vi coping up with it and have you got any proof for proving him innocent and why weren't you picking up our calls Alia and I are so worried about you all?'' asked Ranbir in one go

''bir I was in flight that's why I wasn't picking up any of your calls and Vi is sleeping right now and the team doesn't trust him and he is very broken'' answered Anushka

 ''What? how can they not believe him? and where you right now tell me I'm going to come there.'' again Ranbir asked

''Wait you should not come here because the media has gone crazy outside the hotel I also got in by the backdoor'' said Anushka

''Let's do one thing you vi and vamu come to our farmhouse tomorrow Vi can also rest and play a little with Raha and Vamu and we will find the proofs'' suggested Ranbir 

  '' Ok so tomorrow at 12 we will be there'' agreed Anushka

AFTER 1 WEEK

Ishan rushed in the room where all the team was sitting.

''Ishu slow down you will fall like this'' said a worried Ro

 '' Bhai turn on the news fast'' said Ishan

'' Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is innocent''

''Virat Kohli is innocent''

''Virat Kohli who was accused of betraying his country is proved innocent he was accused by some fans''

All of them saw the news and went pale they didn't trust Vi, their brother how could they do it.  Bhuvi tried to call Vi but his phone was not reachable.

On the other side

The Kapoor's and the Kohli's were sitting in the garden

''We finally did it he is proved innocent now'' said Ranbir 

''I want to say something'' said Vi 

after pausing for a little bit he continued 

'' I am going to announce my retirement after the official procedure and Nush please can we go far away from here I don't want stay here even in the city where I have got so many scars and nightmares '' Vi finally said what he was thinking from some days

'' Yes of course Vi will go from here and live happily''

AFTER FIVE DAYS

the team tried to contact with them but they couldn't they even went their flats, house and farm houses but they didn't find them anywhere but today they saw a post of Virat and it was on every social media platform and the caption broke their heart.

Thank you all for everything . I have many good memories in cricket it's my life something I can't resist but play. But now I think I cannot continue to play this game now. I know I am proved innocent and the ban has been removed but I cannot continue to play professional cricket anymore. So from now consider me retire.

A one post broke millions of hearts that day they didn't want this to happen ever they wanted to watch him play the next world cup. The team was broken how could they not be when their Vi/Virat bhai has retired and somewhere all of them knew they were responsible for this. 

AFTER 2 WEEKS

another post was posted from Virat and Anushka account 

The team was very happy for them but sad because they can't see or pick Akaay up.

AFTER TWO MONTHS

''Virat Kohli while driving had an accident and his wife and kids were with him and all of them are reported dead'' the news anchor said   

The team couldn't believe what they saw on TV. Mahi bhai and Ro went numb and pale before they had a chance to try and talk to him but now he is gone from the world.

I know I rushed the story a bit but I had to do it for the storyline I am thinking of but please vote and comment how was this chapter and please ignore the mistakes. I added Ranbir in this story because I love his Anushka's friendship very much.
