Quill here is an oc who appeared in a dream I had two nights ago so I went like screw it I'm making this guy

Obvi I've changed a few things about them from the dream because I don't remember all of it (fun fact, they were a jaguar and also didn't have long hair-) but this is as close as we're getting

A bit about them, Quill is the god/spirit of fear and courage. However they are actually scared of like everything (due to an event in aforementioned dream, they are afraid of water in most particular) so they're not great at their job. People look up to them, worship them, and think of them as a mighty warrior god, but really they're a shy lil anxious ball of fluff

I really like pouring my buried fears and anxieties into my furry ocs huh *nervous glance at Keres*

Imma be honest if I ever decide to be a furry and get a fursuit it's probably gonna be this guy despite Keres being my actual "fursona," I love how their design turned out

It was mostly a color theory practice there with the palette that ended up cool looking. Here's an artwork I made of them:

How did I do this? No idea. How'd I do this in an hour and a half? ...also no idea-

I've been wanting to use perspective and dynamic posing for a g e s now and I finally got an excuse to do a pose like this :3

And pro tip, chromic aberration is much more useful than you may think :)

BONUS black and white :3

With the practice of color theory I also wanted to work on keeping my subject matter standing out from the background, so I got a layer to make it black and white and kept an eye on it there. It also looks cool so there :D

Anyway. That's all. Take care everyone, and get some rest. You deserve it. It's... been a day, I know.

Stay strong, okay?

Love you all <3
