"Sorry, Phi Winny, because of extra classes, I got late today," Satang says in a tired voice, lowering his head in front of Winny.
Winny takes a bottle of water and, handing it to Satang, says, "No problem. Go sit on a chair and drink some water. You look really tired."
"No, I'm perfectly fine"
"Listen to me, take a little rest and then start working"
Satang sits down on the chair. Just then, his roommate, Ton, calls him.
"Hey Satang, where are you? Anyway, forget it, I called to say don't come to the room today."
"What?... Why? If I don't come to the room, where will I go?"
"Friend, I'm going to bring my girlfriend to the room today. Just stay with another friend for tonight."
"Wait, Ton. You know I don't have any other friends. Can't you please cancel your plan?"
"No, I've already promised my girlfriend, and why don't you make other friends, man... Please adjust somewhere else, don't come to the room."
"Hello...? But Ton... click"
He hung up. Now what should I do?
Satang searches for the cheapest hotel near him on his phone and realizes that he doesn't even have enough money to book the cheapest hotel at the moment. Thinking about what to do next, he looks towards the counter where Winny was standing. Should I ask for help? Sighing, Satang mutters to himself, "Why am I so pathetic?"
Satang walks up to the counter and starts working. He tries several times to talk to Winny, but then stops out of fear.
"It's already 9 o'clock, and I haven't been able to ask for help yet. What should I do? I have to ask for help now. Apart from Phi Winny, I don't know anyone else." Satang thinks to himself.
"Satang, I'm going to close the café now. You should also leave and get some rest; you look tired," Winny suggests.
"Phi Winny..." Satang says in a very soft voice.
Winny looks at Satang, who bows his head and begins to rub his hands together. In a nervous voice, Satang asks, "Can I ask for a favour?"
"Why are you so nervous? Tell me, what do you need help with?" Winny asks affectionately.
"Can I please stay at your place tonight?"
Okay...
Huh...?
Wait outside for a few minutes. I will close the café, then we can leave.
As Winny closes the café, Satang stands outside, pondering why Winny didn't ask anything.
Wait... was it possible that Winny misinterpreted my intentions? Shocked, Satang covers his mouth with both hands, wondering if Winny is thinking something else. No, no, I need to make it clear that I just need a place to sleep.
"Let's go," Winny says.
"Huh... Phi, wait...I want to stay at your place tonight because I can't go back to my room. Don't misunderstand.
"Misunderstand?"
"I mean... I didn't ask because I want to do that."
Winny smiles faintly and then approaches Satang, lowering his head towards him, and asks, "Do that?"
Satang raises his eyes slightly and says in a low voice, "You know what I mean."
Winny explains reassuringly, "Don't worry, I wasn't thinking along those lines at all. Let's go without any worries; I won't do anything."
Satang lifts his head this time, looking at Winny and nodding slightly in acknowledgment.
After walking a little distance, Winny suddenly stops and looks towards Satang.
"Winny approaches Satang, leaning closer to his face, and in a soft voice, he says, 'Well... I won't do anything until you want me to."
Confused, Satang looks toward Winny. Winny responds with a playful smile and continues walking."
When they reach home, Winny's brother, Chai, opens the door. Winny introduces both to each other, and Chai respectfully greets Satang. Satang, feeling a bit awkward, responds courteously to the greeting.
Then Satang approaches Winny and whispers, "Why didn't you tell me that your brother is also at home?"
Why? Don't you like my brother?
No, it's not like that.
Don't overthink. Go and sit with him while I make dinner.
Satang goes and sits on the chair next to Chai, but he still feels uncomfortable. "Should I start a conversation? What should I say? Should I ask about his studies? But what if he doesn't like it and thinks I'm being nosy?" Satang continues to think to himself.
"Phi, what's your favourite food?" Chai asks Satang with an excited expression.
"Well... I can't pick just one dish, I have many things I like, but I particularly enjoy sweet dishes," Satang responds.
"Really...? I also love sweet dishes, especially if they're made by brother Winny. You know..."
As their preferences align, Satang quickly becomes comfortable and happy chatting with Chai. Meanwhile, Winny admires them both from the kitchen.
After dinner, the three of them eat together, and then Chai goes to his room to sleep.
"Let's go to sleep," Winny says to Satang.
Are we going to sleep in the same bed?
Well... since there's only one bed in my room, we'll have to sleep together, or would you prefer I sleep on the floor?
No... that's not what I meant.
Winny smiles slightly and then says, "I told you, I won't do anything."
Satang looks at Winny and says, "You said you won't do anything until I want you to."
Yes, but... it's not like you want to do it.
After Winny's words, Satang lowers his gaze and his expression softens.
Winny understands Satang's expression, and softly asks, "Do you want to do it?"
Satang raises his eyes slightly, but he remains silent, overcome by shyness. Winny approaches Satang, lifting his chin with his hand, and asks him once again, "Do you want to do it?"
Satang, feeling uneasy under Winny's direct gaze, lowers his eyes and hesitantly blurts out, "But your brother is in the next room."
Winny slides his hand to Satang's waist, pulling him closer, then leans in, his lips tantalizingly close to Satang's, as he murmurs softly, "Tonight, I won't allow you to moan."
