We arrived at this big tower in the center of New York. Wow, I guess my 'brother' really lived up to the Stark name.

We got out and made our way to the entrance. There, a security guard came and took the weapons I had managed to secure with Captain America. I knew I wasn't able to stop him so I just settled on glaring daggers instead.

He only flinched slightly when he saw my look, impressive.

After that, I was led to a bland room on the 5th floor. I set down my 'stuff ' that mostly consisted of a toothbrush Tony had bought and 1 pair of clothes.

Once that was settled, Tony led me to what looked like a living room.

There was a woman sitting on the couch, she had strawberry blonde hair and a genuinely kind expression.

Tony grabbed my shoulder and steered me over to her. I glared at him but he just ignored me. So, instead, I decided to judo flip him.

He looked up at me surprised.

"Don't. Touch. Me. Again." I gritted out.

He just stared at me for a second before regaining his composure and introducing me to the girl who had been looking at the scene with interest.

"Pep, this is Nadia. She's my sister." Tony explained.

I scoffed and then replied. "Not your sister."

"Yes you are Nadia. You can't change that." Tony said.

I laughed sarcastically. "Oh no, you stopped being my brother the day you left me on the side of the road like a dog."

I smirked in victory as he finally looked wounded.

The poor girl was just staring in confusion about what was happening.

"I'm going to my room." I say before I stomp off.

"Nadia!" Tony yelled after me.

He'll be surprised that it isn't going to take 2 seconds for me to forgive him like it takes anyone else.

Tony

I sighed and rubbed my forehead.

"I'm sorry about that, Pepper. She can be... difficult."

"It's fine. You know, she does have a great reason for being mad though. You need to accept the fact that you are going to have to earn her trust back, Tony. I'm going to go talk to her." Pepper said.

I guess she was right, but that didn't make me want to take her advice, however.

It was too hard for me to accept the fact that I needed to apologize. So, I took the easiest way out, I didn't.

Nadia

I jumped when a knock came from the door. I looked around for a weapon but couldn't find anything, so I just decided to not answer it.

"Hey, could you let me in?" A girls voice said from outside of the door.

I didn't answer and just continued to stare at the wall in front of me. I was sitting on my bed that was way too soft, it was quiet before the knock and that probably wasn't the best for me at the moment.

But I didn't care. I didn't want to talk to anyone right now.

But the girl at the door just kept knocking and didn't know when to stop so I decided that I needed to do something.

What?

There was a little surprised squeak from outside the door.

"Oh, uh... It's Pepper. I wanted to know if you wanted a snack or something? You looked pretty thin." She said.
