Chapter 10 - Zhongli Story Act 1 [III]

The scene opened with various people conversing in various conversations and now mainly concentrated in the lobby.

"So this go here... and that go there." Kokomi said to herself as she find herself in a simulated battle against Kujou Sara as well as Jean and Beidou on one of the larger holotable. 

The simulation in question is a ship battle 2 verse 2 and ships are destroyer-type. Kokomi and Jean's ship are highlighted in blue while Kujou Sara and Beidou's ship is highlighted in red.

"Counter, my ship 'Nagi' has now begun it flanking attack on you." Kujou Sara said as the display showed her vessel now close-range and off Kokomi's ship starboard. Besides the highlighted ship - the simulation also shows that all ships are firing at each other in beam and volley.

"I've to disagree - Cannon fire, target 'Zhumi'." Jean countered as the highlight ship soon changed as the front of the vessel fired its fixed cannon hitting the enemy ship.

"Damn. Evasive and fire torpedo. I hope it works as intended." Beidou said that the simulator shows that there are two battles one with Kokomi and Kujou Sara engaged at broadside while Jean and Beidou also lock in a range battle.

The simulated battle was intense as the audience was also feeling it. 

"My words, they are really taken it aren't they." Kaeya said as he saw that Jean was determined to win as the prize was unironically was... a date with Aether.

"Listen, I'm not encouraging her excellency but this is not what I was expected to be honest." Gorou said as he watched a battle between Inazuma vs Mondstadt vs Liyue.

"Many people are now betting on who is coming on top." Xingqiu said as he noticed others especially the merchant that lost the previous bid to reclaim a portion of the prized money.

The simulated battle went as well as anyone expected but that was cut short by the public announcement system.

"Now hear this, now hear this - The theatre will resume the show in 2 hours, all guests and members are expected to have their business properly clear and baggage inspected to enter the threatre." The system announced to everyone which was a surprise as before no one had been subjected to an inspection.

"This is rather a strange change." Lisa said as she wondered what happened - all were asking and began to convert up theories to rumors that was until.

"Hey, what do you mean Paimon needs to show Paimon bag? Paimon didn't steal anything."  A voice came and everyone looked to where it was the door to the main theatre which had been in bad shape ever since the main girl's bombardment on Paimon but got Aether in the crossfire instead.

"I know it's sudden but all droid and staff have been notified of recent changes and those protocols must be followed." N-3PO said.

"Okay." Paimon said relented her bag to the protocol droid. The droid soon used its scanner at the eyes and soon turn to the fairy.

"Young Paimon, do you realize that you tave taken item that hasn't been authorized to enter?" The protocol driod said Paimon which she flinch back as she hope she cann't just bring anything without been proprely acessed.

"Oh, what did bring? Oh, before that - the name is-" Yanfei said as she soon came forward and began to introduce herself however was stopped by the droid.

"Miss Yanfai. Thank for your insistence but really there is no problem but there are a few items that aren't permitted into the theatre. this manly item that has the potential to cause harm and that hasn't been verified for trained civilian use." N-3PO said that the statemate was more than enough for Yanfei to realize that her catalyst is already verified but Paimon isn't a user, elemental, or even good at holding items that should be allowed.
