Chapter 17 - Traveler Act 1 [III]

Hellow, all and welcome to the stories - sorry if I was absent for three week or more, have something that need to be resolve. Namely Uni-Final and other paperworks.

So! We Will Be Reunited - Part Three is here and is also the chapter where the ship that Aether has will be named (Yes, that's where it was planned not to mention) and soon recognized afterward.

The set is open to the Overseer's office, as Crossfield is now working and sorting various documents that have arrived on his desk.

"This one for insurance... and that for relief fund... amount to..." Crossfield mumble at the amount of document that he have. While its holographical - appear as paper - the amount was mind boggle enough that it warrent a pot of coffee on the desk.

As the overseer working diligently on recent event both here and elsewhere - a chirping noise from the door alerted him of incoming visitor. "Come, Enter!" Crossfield said as he still a bit frustration.

The door slid open to reveal the station security guard - Commander Aeneaus, as he walking in with more papers. "Sorry to interupt but we got more order and item coming out way."

"Oh?" Crossfield said as the station chief of security handed a terminal to him. "Let's see... This is... This is for Kos and Sieg, who were original tasked with it. These two went on vacation, no wonder why I wasn't able to filled mine. Guess it's overtime it seem."

"Who are they? That is coming here?" Chief Aeneaus asked.

"People from Solaris, Astral Express and their familiar. Also, have we track where that man is?" Crossfield said raising a question.

"Already did, it took a bit of convincing but we manage to have him and he's on the first transport to this station as we speak." Chief Aeneaus replied.

"Good, Let's hope things isn't too heated afterward." Crossfield grunts out the foreshadowing pain.

The ambiance soon change to the exterior of the station and where at the damage docks, the repair works went smoothly as expected.

"This is Workbee group 2, Unit 5, repair on the mooring unit is complete." A voice came as its tap into the intercom of various unit and station in the area.

The view focuses on a pod with large windows tapped to the front with extension arm retracted after completing its works.

The said workbee unit are not alone as another one similar appeared after it also completed its repair. "Copy that, Unit 5 - Join up with Unit 6 then returned to the barn." Another voice came confirmed the report of the Workbee unit as the unit itself begin to make its way returning.

"Hey, Jalibe-man - want a bet?" One of the workbee said to its accompanying workbee as both are on approach to their mothership.

"What it is, Gully? You know that I have a soft craving for that and you have a certain sweet for Kaju-Katli too." The accompanied unit response to its tandem counterparts.

Besides the flavourful banter between the crew - the Empyrean can be seen somewhat on station keeping near the by while its onboard shuttlecraft rotates departing and returning crew from the station.

The view soon change to the top of the saucer and soon at lower part of the bridge dome - there's the captain ready room, at the window, Aether can be seen taking his time and enjoy recent view along with sipping his cup of choice beverages.
