Brady stared at the picture of this guy on his phone. His jaw was clenched as an unknown feeling was washing over him.
He continued to scroll through Juliet's spam account. The deeper he got the more posts about 'Squirrel' there were. They would all be random photos with her obsessing over this guy in the caption. Her going crazy over the fact he looked at her when they passed eachother or that he said a simple word to her.
Brady needed to know who this guy was. He went to Juliet's regular instagram and searched until he found who 'Squirrel' actually is. Some guy named Brandon Mcguire. He barely ever posted but he seemed like a douchebag according to Brady. This kid also played football and had a little sister.
Brady set his phone down and sighed. This was insane. He was going insane. Why was he acting like this? Over some random guy Juliet seems to like. This was crazy.
"Yo, dude. You okay?" Connor asked, ripping Brady out of his thoughts.
"What? Oh yeah I'm fine." Brady lied terribly.
"Bro be for real, no you aren't. Is this about Jules' post?"
"What? Why would it be about her post?"
"Because she posted some random guy and you like her. So obviously you're jealous."
"Jealous? I'm not jealous. And I don't like Jules." Brady gritted through his teeth.
"Yeah and we aren't twins. Be for real for a second. You like her, anyone with eyes can see it."
"I mean yeah she was my celebrity crush for awhile. But now we're friends, it doesn't mean anything anymore."
"I'm not talking about a celebrity crush dude. I'm talking about an actual crush. You have a real crush on her."
"I don't."
"You do, and you may not want to admit it but it's painfully obvious." Connor said as he stood up and walked away.
Brady sat there for a moment contemplating what Connor said before he came to a realization:
He liked Juliet.
