CHAPTER 8: Stuck

Stephanie's POV

"What are you doing here?" Obviously she's shocked to see me here. I, on the other hand, smile at her.

"Hello there" I greeted smirking.

I walk closer to her while she's backing slowly. I still have those effects on her and I can't help not to tease this girl.

She hit her back to the wall that means no more space and I'm only three steps away. She gasps when I hold her shoulders and lean closer. She still smells so damn good, those lavender and strawberry scents.

"W-what a-are you doing?" she asked, a little nervous.  Leaning closer to her face, I spoke.

"I think you have something that belongs to me" I licked her cheek and she shivers. Her cheeks flushed pink.

Even though it's night time and the light is enough to see ourselves her cheeks are noticeably pink. I step backward and look at her, waiting for her to say something.

Coming closer again I grab her wrist and pin it on the wall, she tries to fight me but I'm stronger than her. I pin both of her hands over her head and again lean closer to her ear.

"You look so cute when you blush baby" I didn't know why I leaned more closely to her face and kiss her. Her lips are still so soft and intoxicating, she responded to it just like before.

I miss how she kissed me with hunger, I think her friend is right, Melissa can't remember me but her heart and well-being does. Should I still continue wanting her?

"Shit!" she exclaimed after she pushed me off her, then ran over to the door.

"Oh my god noooo" she shouted banging the door. The door to the rooftop closed, we tried opening it but it's locked. It can only be opened to the other side.

Sighing in defeat I sit down on the floor, her following me she kept swearing and shouting "Help"

"They will not hear you" she looked at me glaring, "with that small voice of yours it's impossible for someone out there to hear you" I chuckle.

She throw me a can of coke and it hit my fucking face. She laughs loudly, damn those beautiful laughs. Few minutes passed silently and she stood up and walked back to her place where I saw her when I came here.

Standing up, walking beside her I slowly slide myself to the wall to sit down with her. I took something from my pocket and showed it to her.

"Where did you get this?" I eyed her seriously not answering her question.

"When did you come over to my place?" she looked surprised by my question, she looked away afraid I could read her.

I took her wrist and put her bracelet around it. She's just staring at what I am doing to her wrist and sighs.

"I know you took the disc and the envelope with the contract inside Melissa" she only nodded shyly.

"I was looking for answers. I didn't mean to sneak inside and steal any" I know it's hard for her situation not to remember something. I'm glad she is trying but the doctor said she will never remember those again.

Suddenly the rain pours out. This rooftop doesn't have a larger space for shading. It's a heavy rain and in a matter of minutes we'll be cold.

Pulling her to follow me to find shelter she obeyed and did not protest. We ran over the edge but failed to find one. I kept swearing I'm nearly soaking but Melissa is already soaked, she's only wearing a t-shirt and leggings . Luckily we ran to the back area and found a little space for us to stay about three persons size, good thing it's just the two of us.

I check the time in my watch and it's almost 9 o'clock. "Do you have any idea what time this school closes?" she nodded and I can see she shivers a little.

"They close at 7:30pm I was shock when you came here unannounced so I forgot to check the time" she explained while I  responded 'okay'

"Come on, let's tell them we're stuck in here. You have your phone with you?" I said softly "I left my phone inside my car" I added.

She grabs her phone from her back pocket and opens it. She tries to dial anybody to make a phone call but unluckily her phone turns black.

"Damn it" she swears again. "Could this night be worse?" Melissa shouted.

"Don't worry it seems like the rain isn't that strong like earlier. We can try to talk about anything for us not to get bored" nodding to my suggestion her tummy made a weird noise.

She blushed in embarrassment and mouthed 'sorry'.

"You haven't eaten yet don't you?" Melissa nods in response.

I tried looking from my coat pocket and found my Fitbar. Taking it from my pocket I handed it over to her, she gladly accepted it and thanked me.

Melissa silently ate it while I'm watching her. She's really beautiful, her wet ginger hair falls perfectly on her shoulder. I will do anything for her to remember me but sadly I can't do anything, could I atleast find a way?

Hours have passed and she falls asleep on my shoulder. I slowly move to check her, holding her face. It feels warmer. I panicked when I checked her forehead, she's burning and shivering cold. I took off my coat and wore it to give her warmth.

What should I do? We are stuck in here and Melissa is burning. Damn it! If only I had my phone with me I could call for help.

"Don't worry baby I'm here" I whisper and kiss her forehead.

"Somebody please help us"
