Timeline: Wan Ge and Gong Ze in highschool

( They're not dating yet at the moment)

After five o'clock, the number of students on the playground dropped sharply, and the school basketball players were still in daily training.

As the captain, Gong Ze was helping the team members to do a physical test, pressing the stopwatch, and after the last team member passed the 50-meter mark, he clapped his hands and assembled the team members.

"This is the end of today's training. Disband."

A group of big boys clapped and cheered, and after talking to each other, they took their schoolbags and left.

Gong Ze also stayed to organize training equipment, and the school basketball's deputy captain and friend of Gong Ze, Beech, stayed to help.

Beech is of British Chinese descent and has lived in the UK since he was a child. However, he speaks Chinese very well. It can be said that he met Gong Ze, who is also a Chinese, at first sight, and his friendship has developed rapidly.

The two were chatting and packing up the basketballs. Suddenly Beech stopped and bumped Gong Ze's shoulder.

"What's the matter?" Miyazawa looked back at him.

Beech looked outside the court and blinked ambiguously at him: "Your little wife is here to pick you up."

Hearing that, Gong Ze looked out of the court and saw a thin figure with short black hair leaning on the outermost basketball with his back facing them.

Seeing that little back figure shrunk into a ball, Gong Ze's eyes softened, speeded up to pack up the basketball, and then hurriedly said to Beech and ran out of the court.

Not long after Wen Ge sat down, he was about to take out the book and look at it. A shadow fell in front of his eyes.

He looked at his watch and then raised his head: "How come today is over so early? I'm going to read the book for a while."

Gong Ze removed the book in his hand and pulled him up: "The coach is not here today, and the regular training is over."

He glanced at the thick book in his hand and frowned: "What is this? Why? So thick? Isn't it still "A Brief History of Time" yesterday ?"

"I finished reading "A Brief History of Time" yesterday. I just borrowed this book from the library, "Shakespeare Poems"."

Gong Ze's brows deepened. He put the brick-heavy poetry book into the schoolbag, then took the two people's schoolbags from Wen Ge's hand, and walked towards the school gate holding hands, preaching to him as he walked: "Read less and exercise more. You're going to be a nerd."

Wen Ge's attention was focused on the hands held by the two of them. He didn't hear what he was saying, so he just perfunctorily said.

Thinking of what his classmates said to him before school, a complicated look flashed across his eyes, and he drew his hand back with his mouth pursed.

Gong Ze was telling him about an interesting event that happened today, feeling that his palms were empty, stopped, and turned to look at Wen Ge: "What's wrong? I pinched you?"

He tried to grab Wen Ge's hand again, this time no matter how hard it was. Still, the grasping movements are much gentler.

Wen Ge shook his head, originally wanting to withdraw it, but seeing that Miyazawa was so persistent, he gave up, but he resisted dryly: "Zhuang Zhuang, I am 17 years old. I don't have to hold hands when crossing the road. It's your brother, even if you protect, I should protect you."
