James and I were skipping class, as usual. We headed out to the courtyard for some fresh air and to light up a cigarette. I sat down on the edge of the fountain, and James sat down next to me. Me and the Marauders have been friends for a long time, ever since my brother Peter came to Hogwarts and met them. He was a year older than me, so I didn't get to meet them until my first year. Me and I got along quite well, and so we hung out together a lot. Everyone always suspected we were dating, but I know he's got an eye for this Lily Evans girl, and I've always had an eye for Sirius's brother, Regulus. The first time I got a look at him was when we were getting off the train when we had arrived at hogwarts. His perfect curly black hair, his beautiful eyes, and don't even get me started on his jawline. All of him was perfect in every way. I've now had a crush on him for 6 years. And I haven't done shit about it. Other than staring him down like a creep, of course. Unlike James, who was made it more than obvious in every way that he is in love with Lily Evans. And still, neither of us has been successful in our love life. James handed me a cigarette and lit it for me. Smoking made me really calm and happy. That's the main reason I did smoke so much. James doesn't smoke anywhere near as much as Sirius, though. That man could go through 2 packs a day. Me and James sat in silence, the sumer breeze blowing my hair slightly. Just then, we heard a door open behind us and lots of talking. We flung our necks around, thinking it might be a teacher, but it was just some slytherins. We both turned back around, not wanting to pay any mind to them. Even though I'm a slytherin, and the marauders despise slytherins, they still accept me. I get why they don't like slytherins, but not all of them are bad people. Same with every house, they all have beef with some other house for some reason, and they just hate each other. I think it's dumb, all this drama. The slytherins walk past us, chatting and laughing. I look over to see if I know them. It was Regulus himself laughing with his friend Barty and Evan. I stared at his beautiful features. God, the way I wanted to touch his pearly white skin. I got pulled out of my thoughts in shock when I noticed he had looked at me, and we were making eye contact. Neither of us looked away. Neither of us made any facial expression, just our eyes locked together. Once he got past me, he had looked back in front of himself again and began laughing at some joke Evan had made. I sighed and looked over at James. He was shaking his head at me.

"You've seriously got to at least give him hints that you like him," James said

"I know it's just that, well, I don't know. He obviously wouldn't like me back. He only has his three close friends, and that's it. And if I'm being honest him and Pandora really do seem to be friendly with each other. More than likely, there is a thing."

"Honey, believe me, me and him, will NEVER be a thing, he isn't exactly what I'm into if you know what i mean."

I turned to my left to see Pandora walking by. Shit shit shit. She probably just heard everything I said. She gave a smile and continued walking in the same direction as her friends. I opened my eyes wide from the fear and shock. I snapped my head to look at him. His jaw was wide open.

"Well, that's certainly one way to find out if he's dating her," He said while slowly looking to turn at me.

"Oh my fucking God. She's gonna tell Regulus. And he obviously won't like me back. And then all of his friends will make fun of me. Oh my God, when I walk through the common room, everyone will laugh at me. Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my god." I started freaking out all the bad thoughts of what could happen started seaping into my head. James grabbed me by the shoulders and made me look at him.

"Hey, calm down. It's gonna be ok. She probably won't tell him." He tried to reassure me.

"Why wouldn't she tell him?!?! He's her best friend!!" I raised my voice. I put my head in my hands and let out a groan.

"We should've just gone to astronomy," I whined.

After I had gotten through the rest of my classes, I was so looking forward to dinner. I had skipped lunch, and my stomach was growling like crazy. I walked through the great hall, taking a seat at my table. Everyone was chatting, and the great hall was filled with noise. I glanced down the table and saw Regulus and his friends. I began putting some ham and steamed carrots on my plate. After I had finished eating, I got up from the table to head to the common room. I was planning on working on an essay for potions and then doing a bit of reading so I could catch up on the astronomy class I had missed today. I got to the door in the dungeons and said the password. The doors creaked open, allowing me to enter inside. Not many people were in here because most were still eating downstairs. I went and grabbed my parchment, quill, and books and came back down to the common room. More people came from dinner back here, and it was a bit more crowded now. I took a seat by a window looking out into the lake. I always thought it was so pretty looking through the glass, being able to see all the fish and creatures swimming by. I began to work on my essay, and after I had gotten bored of that, I began to catch up on astronomy. About halfway through my reading, I noticed someone walking towards me. I didn't move my attention from my book. Once they were towering over me, I finally looked up to see Pandora looking down at me.

"Hello," I said.

"Hey, so I heard a bit of what you said earlier, and I was wondering if you wanted me to try and set you and Regulus up? I've noticed him looking at you a lot, and every time I pester him about it, he gets all red-faced and pissy." I was shocked. Could Regulus actually like me? I didn't know what to say.

"Umm, I'm not sure," I said wryly, not having enough time to process everything she had just told me.

"Alright, well, you think about it, cutie." she smiled at me before walking off. I blushed, thinking of the fact I might actually have a chance with my crush. I watched her walk back to her friends and them all give her confused looks. I guess she didn't tell any of them what I had said. As I was looking at them, Regulus looked over at me, and we made eye contact. For a second, I thought he gave me a small smile. I looked away, noticing my face heating up, and I didn't want him to see me blushing. I packed up my things and headed to my dorm. I got ready for bed and got my things ready for the morning. I drifted off to sleep peacefully while thinking about my potions teacher accident exploding himself.
