Malapit nang magdilim at andito ako living room at kanina pa ako rito. Inaasikaso naman ako nang mga maids pero iba parin kung nasa Mansion ako ng Grand Duke dahil kilala kona lahat ng tao dun di gaya rito, Pero malapit narin akong umuwi kaya hunting tiis nalang.
Napatingin ako sa mga matatamis na cupcakes at cookies sa mesa at ni kunti ay hindi ko ginalaw ang mga ito dahil tanging luto lang at dala ni Vivica ang kinakain ko.
Napasandal ako sa couch at Napa cross legs ako. Agad ko naman na napansin na lumapit ang Isa sa mga maid na nagserve sakin nang pagkain.
"Y-Your G-Grace, is there something wrong with the food?". Kinakabahan na tono nang kanyang boses.
"There's nothing wrong, I just don't have appetite". Seryuso kong sabi.
She lowered her head. "O-okay, Your Grace".
Napabuntong hininga ako at pinigilan siya. "Wait".
"Look at me". I told her. She lifter her head slowly and she look so nervous she can't even look right into my eyes.
"Who made the foods?". Mahinahon kung tanong upang hindi naman siya kabahan.
"O-our c-chief c-c-cook, Your Grace".
I sigh at ramdam na ramdam ko ang panginginig nang kanyang boses. "Are you afraid that the chief will scold you if I don't eat the food?".
It took her a second to respond and I notice that her she's sweating.
Napakagat ako sa aking labi. Hindi ba maayos ang aking pakikitungo sakanya? O sadyang takot siya sakin?.
Agad ako na tumayo at hinawakan nang mahinahon ang kanyang mga kamay. "Look at me". I told her.
Her hands were shaking. She nervously locked her eyes into my eyes.
"Y-Your G-Grace--------". I instantly interupted her.
"Don't be afraid to speak Infront of me, I don't bite".
Napakagat siya sa kanyang ibabang labi bago tumugon. "Well, I've just heard many stories about you Your Grace...and I'm afraid that you might not liked how I treats you".
"I may be that devil in stories but I'am just doing what is necessary for me to do, and besides I'am a general I do hold sword not lipsticks". Mahinahon na tono nang boses ko.
Huminahon ang tingin sa kanyang mga mata at ngumiti na siya nang paunti'unti.
"You were so beautiful, Your Grace". Sweet tone of her voice.
Iam flattered. "I'am? Then if I'am beautiful as you said you must not get nervous whenever you see me or talk to me, understand?".
She took a deep breath and nodded. "Y-yes, Your Grace".
Agad ko na binitawan ang kanyang mga kamay at kumuha ako nang cookies at kinain ito. Napansin ko na masarap ito kaya ay marami ang aking kinuha at napangiti siya habang tinitingnan ako.
I've smiled sweetly towards her and gaved her some of the cookies and cupcakes.
Nagtaka siyang tumingin sakin ngunit iginiit ko na kunin niya ang cookies. "Here, have some".
"Your Grace it's Inappropriate for a servant like me to eat such expensive cookies and it's not for me, it's for you".
"Yes it's for me, then I can also give it to you". Sabi ko'pa.
"Your Grace, what if His Majesty the king will get mad at me?". Natatakot na expresyon sa kanyang mukha.
"No, his majesty will not get angry at you...I promised". I swore to her and winked.
