He just gave a feather touch on my cheek and I looked into his eyes and can see how much he loves me even without mentioning it.

I thought of some excuse but didn't get any and suddenly heard a laugh. I looked up and saw him laughing on me.

Rahul said with a smirk on his face like how well he read my expressions.

He took my hand and made me sit near the wall with a pillow behind and gave me water to drink and asked,

" I get something to eat?? "

" You didn't ate well in dinner.. I will get something for you.. "

" N.. No.. I can't before tomorrow puja"

"Nobody will come to know.. I am getting.. "

"N.. Noo I am not hungry also., please" I made a puppy eyes and he melted knowing my belief in rituals.

He sat near the threshold near to me. I drank water and he asked me to rest for sometime and exhaustion was already taking a toll so within few seconds I was asleep.

It felt like just few moments and somebody is waking me up. I leisurely opened my eyes and saw Ma standing near us and I got up properly and said,

" Wo.. Woh Ma mein bas.. "

"Relax beta.. I came to wake up you both so you can go to room to rest. The mahurat is over and I will open your gathbandhan (cloth knot) and you can change and rest. "

Listening to Ma's voice Rahul too woke up asking what happened and Ma explained to him.

She opened the gathbandhan took the jewelry and said,

" Tomorrow ritual will start by 11 so take rest by 10 no need to get up early just get ready and come down by 11. Also, if you need any help you call me or Deepika ok??. Your clothes and everything is kept ready in the room. " Ma said lovingly and I just nodded saying yes.
