Sushma did aarti for the couple and gestured her to enter the house with her right leg. Nisha held Rahul's hand and both entered the house with everyone. Nisha touched feet of elders but Rahul stayed at his place next to Nanaji. Nisha finally asked,

" Ma.. Ye sab.. Kyu? "

(" Mom.. What's all these and why? ")

" Meri bahu pehli baar aa rahi thi hamare ghar.. Koi kami nahi honi chahiye thi.. Ye sab Deepika ka idea tha.."

(" My daughter in law is coming for first time.. Everything should be perfect. This is Deepika's idea..")

" Not only mine.. It's papa's idea.. I just helped little" Deepika peeked in between.
Rahul froze on listening to this but didn't react much. Deepika rushed to Rahul and hugged him saying, " Thank you so much for coming.. This is the best birthday gift for me.. You don't know how much I wanted this.. Thank you.. "

Deepika had tears in her eyes and Rahul too felt emotional and hugged her back but all these things going around him made him numb so he lost his words in his throat.

" Let them come in beta.. Nisha first you lit diya in mandir.. Then we all will sit and have breakfast.. "

Nisha nodded and gestured Rahul to come along but he denied. Sushma saw this and felt upset too but didn't react anything. Nisha went near him and said,

" We just have to lit a diya in mandir.. Come with me please.. "

" You go and do your bahu duties.. I.. I am not interested.. "

Nisha wanted to say something but thought to give him some time and then she will talk to him. Nisha lit the diya and did aarti too and everyone sat for breakfast. Rahul wasn't keen to sit with everyone but Nisha made him understand in hushed voice,

" We are going to stay for a week.. So don't spoil your mood.. Please smile.. For me.. Please.. "

" You are taking too much of benefit of my love.. "

" I know.. Now smile handsome.. " She said and went to help Sushma but she completely denied her saying,

" You are going to have only fun and rest here.. No kitchen work.. So go and sit we are getting everything.. I have made your and Rahul's both favorite things.. " There was a pleasing smile on her face and it showed how much she is putting efforts from her side.

Nisha went out and saw Rahul taking Nanaji to the room to help him to freshen up. Preeti and Deepika have already gelled very well and busy chit chatting in themselves. Aanad was standing in the corner talking on the phone. She went there to speak to him. She had very few encounter with him and everytime he was very polite to her. He ended the call and asked,

" Areh betaji.. Everything ok? "

(" Betaji = Kid")

" Yes.. Uncle just.. How are you? "

" I am fine and today extra fine.." He paused looking at Sushma and Deepika and added, " Today you fulfilled Sushma's wish.. After so long Sushma and Deepika are so happy.. Thanks to you.. "

" No.. No.. Please don't thank me.. "
