Jaehyun was the regular popular student in NCIT University, the school's president and golden boy of the school.. scratch that Jaehyun is no regular student, he is in fact the elite sniper of the Seoul police force but of course no one's knows that. Everything in he's life seemed perfect, perfectly planned out that is and Jaehyun wasn't complaining he likes that he's future was almost fixed and it sure was, till a new girl transferred to NCIT in the middle of the semester. Everyone found that odd, transferring there at that time, NCIT is not exactly and easy University to get in, the course are tough and the schedules are packed. For someone to transfer so suddenly would mean that they are either extremely smart or they have extremely good connections. Of course Jaehyun didn't bother about it he was too busy with he's life to do so. But the new girl did caught he's eyes and with he's friends constantly talking about her at every opportunity it ticked he's interest. She was cute he won't deny it but man does he have no time for relationships at the moment. He did learn from Jungwoo who unsurprisingly quickly befriended the new girl that her name was Y/N. Jungwoo always mentions how sweet and cute she was, they shared multiple classes together and Jungwoo as expected managed to become her seat mate. Jaehyun on the other hand shared only 2 classes with Y/N but never interacted with her. He found himself admiring her from the back of the class. The more he found himself staring at her and always looking forward to seeing her enter the class quickly made him realise that he had a crush on a girl he didn't know. Whatever Jungwoo said was true she was pretty cute. All seemed well for the first few weeks after Y/N entered the school. Jaehyun continued he's thing and he work didn't really require him much. Hence, he was able to focus on school and other things (like staring at Y/N) for awhile. But peaceful days don't last forever and Jaehyun soon finds himself suiting up for a highly risky and confidential mission. This mission might just be one of Jaehyun's most important mission ever since he joined the force. No matter what he could not fail it as the state of the country lied in he's hands. As the special force arrived on scene everyone got into position and carried out the mission as planned. It all went smoothly so far and there was one last step left to do, terminate the enemy. As Jaehyun hid on the roof waiting for he's teammates signal he looked through he's scope and saw something he wished he never saw. It stunned him, he was in disbelief, was he seeing things? That can't be real? Can it? Through the scope he saw enemy agents in the building cautiously approaching the middle of the room with a stand that held a drive with highly confidential and dangerous information. As they got closer the leader of the team removed her mask for better vision that's when Jaehyun saw her, it was Y/N. She is the leader of the enemy team he was tasked to take down. He heart raced in never would he have thought that he would have to kill the girl he had a huge crush on. Jaehyun zoned out for a minute with Taeyong he's leader screaming into the earpiece to open fire. Jaehyun breathes heavily and he's hands were shaking, he was having a panic attack and it was clearly affecting he's aim as he opened fire but unlike the usual time where He always shoots the enemy right in the head killing them instantly Jaehyun missed. For the first time in he's life on one of the most important mission of he's life he missed. The bullet pierced through the sky and grazed Y/N's neck. Alerted she quickly puts her mask back on and hid, looking out to where the bullet came from. Her team spotted the sniper on the roof and did not hesitate to open fire. Out numbered Jaehyun quickly grabbed he's equipment and retreated. As shots were fired, Y/N swiftly grabbed the drive and ran. A successful mission for the enemy team. Jaehyun on the other hand returned to he's team in a mess. Taeyong was beyond pissed and gave him a good scolding before leading the team back to base to figure out a plan to retrieve the drive before it's too late. The next day Jaehyun return to school still distraught and when the time came for he's class with Y/N he quickly realised that she wasn't coming to class. He dawned upon him how much he messed up on yesterday's mission and without a second thought he packed up he's things and ran out of class and straight to base ignoring Doyoung and he's teacher's calls. All Jaehyun can think of was how he was going to fix this, but he was he gonna fix this he's crush is gone, he's enemy is gone, the drive is gone, and he's perfect life felt it it was slipping away.
