"He's training with the Fremen," Jessica mumbles to her unborn daughter as she holds her stomach. "They'll be back soon. Don't worry."
As she keeps walking, she keeps talking to her, but to others, it would seem that she is talking to herself.
"Mm-hmm. You're right. If we want to protect your brother and sister, we need all the Fremen to believe in the prophecy."
She stops, finding a group of children with their mother huddled into a corner.
"We must convert the non-believers one by one," the little girl whispers to her mother, but all she hears is her own voice. "We need to start with the weaker ones. The vulnerable ones. The ones who fear us."
