Tuesday 2nd September
"Fin come on get in the car" I say to him as he runs up and down the drive, "Finley please"
"Finley mummy's tired now get in the car" Tegan says from her seat and I chuckle
"Can I sit in the front?" Finley asks, having a pause
"No. Your seat's in the back and we're already late. Come on" I say
"What's the magic word?" He says and continues running
"Please?" I say hopefully and he shakes his head
"Abracadabra?" I say and he shakes his head again then I remember
"Abracatoodlepips?" I say and he nods his head and hops in the car. Eva used to say it a lot
"Finally!" I say and buckle him up
When the radio turns on, a song by one direction comes on called Fireproof. I listen to it carefully and it's actually really good
"I like that song mummy" Tegan says as it finishes
"I don't" Finley shouts. He's in a funny mood this morning. He went to bed at half past 6 because he was really tired and so was I, so I think he got too much sleep
"I agree with Tegan. It's really good" I say
"Can we put it on again?" She asks
"Teegs it was on the radio, you can't" I say laughing
"Oh" she says laughing even though she didn't know what she'd done
When we get to the school, we all jump out of the car. Finley runs off with Morgan and I see Gemma. "Hi" I say walking up to her
"Hi, who's this little cutie?" She asks smiling at Tegan
"I'm Tegan!" She says grinning
"Is she your daughter?" Gemma asks
"Yep. How old are you Teegs?" I ask her
"Two" she says holding up three fingers, and then I put one down
"She's adorable!" Gemma says, "I've got another son who's also two, but he's with my sister at the moment"
"What's his name?" I ask her
"Jacob. He's starting playgroup soon, is Tegan?" She asks
"Yeah in about a month" I say, "the one just down the road"
"He's going to that one too" she says laughing, "it's gonna be hard dropping them both by 9, since I'm a single parent and my sister doesn't have a car"
"I'm a single parent too" I say. Be brave. Be strong. I can do this, "we could always share lifts if we need too?"
"That's a good idea" she says as the very load bell rings
"Bye Fin!" I shout as he waves to me
"Bye Morgs!" Gemma yells
"Bubye!" Tegan shouts
"Sorry I've got to dash off, I've got to get Jacob" Gemma says
"Bye!" I shout as me and Tegan walk back to the car
We go back to the house for some breakfast, since neither of us have had any. "What do you want Teegs?" I ask her looking through the cupboards
"Strawberries!" She shouts, they're her favourite food
"Okay sweetie" I say, and make two bowls of strawberries and put a little bit of sugar on them
"Yummy!" She says when she's finished
"They were nice strawberries today" I say laughing
On Tuesdays and Saturdays, I always vlog my day. Since today is Tuesday, I get my vlogging camera and press record
"Helloooooo guys!" I say, "it's Tuesday today so I'm vlogging! It was Finley's first day at proper school yesterday and he loved it! Me and Teegs just dropped him at school and then we had some strawberries!"
"They were really yummy!" She says
"You're so cute!" I say picking her up and tickling her
"No mummy stop" she says laughing, and I stop
"Okay so I think we're gonna go down to Asda now, so I'll vlog in a bit. BYEEEE" I say the press stop
"Do you want to go on a little walk?" I ask Tegan and she nods, "come on then, let's walk to the shop"
The main reason why I wanted to come to Asda was for a One Direction cd, but we need some food for lunch and dinner too. "Come on missy" I say, picking Tegan up because she was walking slow
"What do we need in the shop?" She asks
"Well you wanted to listen to that song in the car so shall we get a cd?" I ask
"Yeah!" She says, getting excited
"Calm down though" I say laughing
"Oaky" she says, meaning okay, but she doesn't.
"Which one is it?" I ask myself.
I look at the back of all the One Direction CDs and I see on that has Fireproof on the back, "I think it's this one" I say popping it in the trolley
We get a few more things like bread, cheese, and milk, then we make our way home. When we got home, I put the cd in the car radio so I know where it is, then went with Tegan, who wanted to play princesses. "Mummy can you help me put this one on?" She asks holding up her Snow White dress
"Of course Princess Snow White" I say bowing down to her, and she laughs
"You have to be a princess too!" She says excitedly
"I won't fit into any of your dresses I'm too big" I say
"No put one of yours on!" She says, dragging me out of her room and into mine
I have a yellow dress that looks similar to Belles dress, so I pull that out of my cupboard. "Put it on!!!" She shouts
I pull of my leggings and jumper and put on the dress. "You look like a princess now!" She says giggling
"Shall we go into the garden?" I ask and she nods
I pick her up to go down the stairs because they're very steep, and I don't want her to fall down them. We run into the garden and she looks adorable, so I grab my camera and take a picture of her. Then I grab my phone and take a selfie with her and put it on Instagram.
