My friends made the days roll by like sonnets off my tounge
The hot summer air and the way the crickets sung
Splashing around in the baking sun
Icecream and milkshakes
Coffee and fruitcakes
The time we spent together will be treasured in my memories
But what am I waiting for
Ive had friends before
But these ones are different
We will always laugh cry and smile together
Because I'll love them forevermore
