LOUIS' POV

Ugh this hangover is killing me. How much did I even have last night. All I remember is seeing Brian and Bubs in the kitchen and then taking bottles to my room as my leading lady in an award function, my eyes, visible from thirst, set on it for every fucking second.

I strongly believe bubs could never do such a thing but i also know Brian could also never do something like this.

So you mean bubs forced her onto him?
No, never, she could never do that.

Then Brian made it seem like this?
He isn't the one to stoop this low, he was heartbroken when bubs left, we all were.

Fuck, something's wrong. Maybe it was the drinks acting in them.
But bubs was sober, she didn't even take a sip. So maybe he-

"My head hurts so fucking much." Malik groaned taking a seat beside me on the couch.

"That's what you get for drinking so much." Betty handed us, some drink, which I assume is for relieving hangover. Tipping my head back, resting it, i brought the drink to my lips, closing my eyes to avoid the lights around the room.

"Morning Betty. Oh Morning Mr. Tomlinson, Mr. Malik." Someone enters the room, assuming a girl, the sound of her heels and voice giving that away and I grimace at how cheery her greetings were.

"No need, just call us by our name. Good morning to you too..." I spoke through my teeth, trailing off, not knowing her name.

"Victoria. Ms. Elliott's PA." She informed me further moving on greeting kid who were on summer break from school. She said bubs PA, might as well take advantage of it. I felt someone open my eyelid and no doubt it was Ernie, meanwhile malik was getting the same services from Dori.

"How many meetings does she have today?" I inquired. If she doesn't have any, we can go out for a family outing or a long weekend, it's Friday already. Kids, bubs, lads and I could just fly to somewhere for a while.

"None." she replied, and i finally looked at her, she was carrying two go to coffee cups and I presume it's for bubs and her. Kids climbed onto my lap, resting their heads on my shoulder, making me contented with my decision to take a shower, so I was no longer reeking of alcohol.

"Then why bother going?" I mused, as kids watched the interaction with bubbling excitement as to maybe their mother can get a day off.

"office rounds, surprise checks." she shrugged, handing the coffee to bubs, who was yet again dressed in formals, but more on the casual side, must be the Fridays. She was looking stunning. Even in just a pair of jeans, a turtleneck- that makes me think how many of those does she have, a blazer and white sneakers, she knew how to take a man's breath away. Not to mention the gold earrings and necklace, how much I wanted to spoil her rotten.

Kids got up from my lap, following their mother like a lost puppy, join me in on the group. I too got up following them, as they took a seat on the dining table. Once finished with the breakfast, bubs stood up, giving each of the twin a kiss on the forehead.

"Give one to him too." Ernie giggled, tipping his chin towards me to let bubs know who he was talking about.

"How about i give you his, and you give it to him yeah?" she spoke, so lovingly and I never wished for something this bad in my life than to one day be on the receiving end of her this tone. I was broken out of my daze, only to see bubs grumbling and walking towards me. Her lips on my forehead were a ghost of memory, gone just as soon as they were there.

"Happy?" she asked, giving a sarcastic smile to kids, who laughed shaking their heads violently. I was even worried for once that their head doesn't fall from their neck.
