After the shocking call from her mom, Mona rushed home with the girls. As soon as Mona rushed through the door she screamed "Mom!?" She heard no response, she ran in the kitchen & saw blood on the floor. " Oh my god." said Alison, as Mona started crying. Just then, -A turned the corner, & sent Mona a text, she read it aloud:
Be afraid, bitches. Be very afraid. -A
The girls turned around to see -A holding a knife in his hand. He tried to chase the girls, but before he stepped near Mona. Emily pulled out a gun, & said "What did you do with Ms.Vanderwaal." -A pulled out a tape recorder, which said Ms.Vanderwaal's voice:
The recorder: (screaming) Mona, help me.
-A tried to run up & attack the girls but Emily shot him in the arm just in time. Aria kicked him in the stomach & as Charles lied on the floor , the girls ran out the front door.They all got in their cars & drove off. "Who's Mona going to stay with, because she's not safe in her house." said Hanna. "She can stay with me." said Aria. Both Mona & Aria went to Aria's house, "Mike, I have a surprise for you." said Aria. Mike walked down the stairs. Then, he slowly looked up at Mona."Hi, Mike." said Mona. Mike couldn't find the right words to so to Mona, so he gave her a really tight hug. "I missed you so much, Mona." said Mike. "Mona's going to stay here for a couple of days." said Aria. "Cool." said Mike.
Later in Aria's room, Mona sat on Aria's bed as Aria made a place for Mona to sleep.Mona's phone rung with:
Aria can't help you now.But that's not your problem.It's your mom's. -A
Mona slowly walked over to Aria & showed her the phone. "What the hell? said Aria.The others were at Ali's house, when Aria sent out an S.O.S text to the others.A few minutes later, Aria & Mona showed up at Ali's. "Guys, -A isn't playing around anymore, we're in serious danger." said Mona, as she paced around Ali's living room. Just then, Mona's phone rung:
Mona:Hello?
Rosewood P.D: Ms.Vanderwaal, we have some terrible news.
Mona:Yes?
Rosewood P.D: Your mother was shot to death in the Rosewood Mall parking lot.
Mona:( crying) Oh my god.
Rosewood P.D : We are very sorry for your loss,Mona.
Mona: (crying) Thank you.
Then, Mona got an -A text:
First Ali's mom, now yours, who's next to die in Rosewood. -A
"Open the attachment." said Aria.Mona opened the attachment to see a video of -A shooting her mom in the back." Jason, Where are you?" said Alison. Jason walked in the living room. "Charles isn't your damn imaginary friend, because imaginary friends don't stalk your sister & her friends, or kill people, or die." said Ali, as she slapped Jason. "Ali, don't ever slap me again, because I told you I don't remember Charles like that." said Jason."Wait,Ali. Jason doesn't remember much about Charles, but your dad must know something." said Spencer. Then, Alison got an -A text:
Father knows a big secret about me, something he doesn't want to reveal. -A
Everyone looks at the text, even Jason." Charles goes by -A now." said Spencer to Jason. "What if your dad threw out or hid anything in this house connected to Charles." said Emily, to both Ali & Jason. "A few months, before Ali went missing, Dad bought a storage unit." said Jason. "Let's go check it out." said Alison.
