Chapter 10: Midnight Strike & -A Does Too.

The girls all froze in one place as the went over to a door. To see a girl dressed like Cinderella, crying as her makeup got ruined. "Oh my god. What happened?" said Ali, holding her hand out for the girl to grab. "Some guy grabbed me by my wrist & told me that if I didn't follow him, he was going to kill me. So then I found him to this room, where he pushed me in & locked the door." said the girl. " What's your name & why were you scream & crying?" asked Emily who grabbed her other hand.

" My name is Serena & I was screaming & crying because I was hoping someone would come find me. & I saw a dead body over there. I think he was a party guest." she said. Serena & the liars walked over to a long white cloth & as soon as they approached it Emily ripped off the cloth. Under the cloth, there was decease Agent Holbrook who was wearing a Robin Hood costume with a note tape to his chest. Aria pulled the note off his chest, & read it to the girls.....

First, a dead meddlesome detective without his backup. Then , a dead liar without her friends or cops. When the clock strikes midnight, I'll strike. -A

" Mona, take Serena back down to the party." said Spencer. " Okay." said Mona holding her hand as they left the room. " Guys, Charles must have killed Holbrook, before he kidnapped Serena." said Emily. "Guys, all I know is we need to get the hell out of here. I smell dead people." said Hanna crossing her arms.

The girls left the room. As they ran down the hall , Charles turned a corner wearing a V for Vendetta mask, a black cloak, & a black hat.

As soon as they came back down to the ballroom, they all looked at their phones. " Guys, it's 11:55." said Emily. "So, we have 5 minutes to figure which one of these people is Charles." said Spencer. As soon as, they started walking. Serena ran toward them holding her bleeding hip. "Oh my god. Serena, what the hell happened." said Aria. " The creep who grabbed me stabbed me in my side & took Mona." said Serena, falling on her knees from the pain in her side.

As Serena fell to the ground, the music stopped & all the party guests stopped dance. " Someone call 911." said Spencer, as the party guests silently looked at the girls. A girl pulled out her iPhone & started to dial 911."We have to go find Mona." said Hanna. The girls ran back upstairs.

As the girls walked down the hallway. Hanna noticed the letter "M" written on a mirror in bright red lipstick. Guys, look." said Hanna pointing to the mirror. The girls all huddled around the mirror. Just then, the girls got an -A text:
