Two men stood back to back, weapons raised, covered in blood. They were surrounded, and extremely outnumbered.

"Orion Pax and D-16! You are under arrest by order of the Senate! Lower your weapons!" The head officer, Barricade, yelled, his weapon trained on the two men.

"Orion, my friend..." Megatronus grumbled from behind his facemask.

"On one condition!" Orion yelled His faceguard deactivating.

Barricade hesitated.

"All right!" He yelled.

"Give us what we want! EQUALITY!" Orion yelled. Officers looked at each other in dumbfounded confusion. Barricade snorted. That's what all this is about?!

"I can't promise you that! But I can promise a fair trial." He called.

"Then we'd rather die!" Megatronus spat. He looked at the man who had helped him lead the Rebellion. His second in command. Orion looked back at Megatronus, and they shared a look only they understood.

Till death I will fight.

The officer shook his head.

"I can only try! No guarantees!" He called. Orion and Megatronus looked at each other, and deactivated their weapons. Officers cuffed them and placed them in the cop cars.

Barricade walked up to them, deactivating his mask.

"Just tell me this. Why go through all this trouble for equality?" He asked.

Orion and Megatronus looked at each other.

"The Senate took it too far. We started with peace, but someone in the Senate caused it to become this." Orion said." We had no intention to cause a full scale war. We want equality within our race. The right to choose our own path." He added when Barricade scowled.

"This doesn't make any sense." Barricade muttered as he walked away.

"All stand for Head Senate, Ultra Magnus."

Cybertronians stood, including Orion and Megatronus.

"You may be seated." Ultra Magnus said, And everyone sat down. Magnus looked over the evidence records and pleas and reports from Barricade. Orion and Megatronus looked back at their families. They knew they would not live to see their children grow.

"Arise Orion Pax and Digger number 16." Ultra Magnus said. The two men turned to the Head Senate and stood with their Reps.

"I have looked over both of your records, and to say I am surprised would be an understatement. Both of you have committed treason to this planet. You began with a peaceful protest, then escalated it to violence-"

"That's not true!" Megatronus spat. Orion held him back as he tried to lunge forward. "You fragging Senate's made it violent!" He snarled. Ultra Magnus seemed unfazed by the rebels outburst.

"Yes, it seems." He said, looking through the records until he found the one he needed. The screen beside him flicked to life as a scene where a unidentified Senant official open fired on an unarmed protest group, wounding four or five. Killing three.

Barricade, who had been observing the room the while time, noticed a few Senate members smile smugly. The chief officer scowled.

His attention was drawn back to the court when Ultra Magnus called him.

"Sir?" He said, turning to him.

Ultra Magnus did not look pleased.

"You have been leading this whole investigation. Have you anything to defend or convict these men of?" Magnus asked. Barricade was taken aback, although he hid it well.

"It started peaceful. I have had talks with these men multiple times. Because they protested without violence, there was nothing I could do more. I was there when Senator BlackJack open fired on the protesters. None were armed. That was when things escalated." The officer said, looking back at the now not smirking Senator.

"Why have you not mentioned this before the trial?" Ultra Magnus asked.

"Because I know BlackJack would've tried to eliminate all evidence against him." Barricade said. It was his turn to smirk.

"Barricade. As you are an honest man, and a man of code, do you testify your accusation as a witness?" Ultra Magnus asked.

Hah! Bet y'all are wondering what he'll say?

Am I right?
