The waiting room was crowded, and everyone was anxious. Finally, after what felt like forever, Ratchet walked up to Elita and sighed in annoyance.
"He only passed out from exhaustion." He said.
"Wait he hasn't been sleeping?" Megatron growled. The two mechs turned to Elita.
"He wakes up in the middle of the night but won't tell me anything." She said. "He'd only tell me to go back to sleep, or not even speak to me." Her voice choked, and Jawstriker hugged her.
"I wanna see daddy!" Silver star demanded, running up to Ratchet. The medic knelt and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"He's asleep. You can when he wakes up, ok?" He said softly.
"No now!" Silver star yelled, stomping her foot, tears welding in her eyes. Ratchet sighed and stood.
"Silver star that is enough!" Elita barked. Silverstar began to cry. Megatron smacked her on the back of her head.
"Listen to your carrier, girl!" He growled.
Silverstar cried and ran down the hallway.
"Silverstar!"
Silverstar opened the door to Orion's room and dropped to the floor and ran to his bed.
"Daddy?" She called softly. Pulling a chair next to the bed, she crawled up on the bed and laid next to him, arms wrapped in a hug. A few seconds later a hand on her back. She looked up and saw him looking down at her. He pulled her into a hug as everyone else rushed in.
"Orion, your awake." Ratchet said.
"I could hear her from the lobby." He chuckled.
"How are you, sweetspark?" Elite asked, walking to his side.
"I'll be fine, love." He said with a smile.
"I told you he needs his rest!" Ratchet scolded, waiving his finger at the girl.
"She is alright, Ratchet." Orion said, and hugged his daughter as tightly as he could, without choking or crushing her, of course. Even then, Silverstar didn't seem to mind the pressure. She was once again safe in her sires arms, and to her, that was all that mattered.
By the time Orion was able to leave, Silverstar made it a point she wasn't leaving his side. The stubborn femmeling clung to her sire, and wouldn't allow anyone to touch her should she scream and cling tighter to him. Orion, with Elitas help, lifted himself out of the wheelchair and placed his daughter into the car seat, kissing her head to quiet her before she pitched another fit. Once everyone was in the car, Elita drove home, and helped her husband into the house. Ratchet had given the stubborn mech some medication to help him sleep, and was forced to stay home from work for a good three weeks, where he could do nothing but sleep and eat.
Megatron and Hawkeye visited every day, helping elita with whatever she needed to do outside of the house, such as shopping, or taking the kids to school, or watching Orion and the kids while she and Nightward went out for whatever they needed to do. When Silverstar wasn't taken to school she was by her sires side, nestled next to him or carrying trays of warmed energon to him in bed, with her carriers watchful eye and help.
But one day, while Silverstar was at school, it happened. Having had enough of being bullied by the bigger kids, Silverstar had gotten into a fight, which both her and Bumblebee got suspended for.
Elita was quiet the drive back home, Bumblebee and Silverstar both quiet, each looking out the windows. It was raining, so the sound of raindrops on the moving car was the only noise.
Unable to stand the quiet, Elita spoke up.
"Just what were you thinking?" She demanded. Looking at her daughter through the rear view mirror.
"They deserved it." Silverstar muttered, glaring out the window.
"It doesn't mean you can fight at school. Why didn't you just tell the teachers? They would have done something."
"They didn't. They don't care." She said, still looking out the window. Bumblebee looked at her and grabbed her hand.
"And what about you, bee? What made you fight?" Elite asked. Bumblebee looked at her, then Silverstar, then out the window. Elite sighed in frustration and didn't say another word
