It was the beginning of summer for Jungkook. It took him so long and now he was finally free of that hellhole better known as "BangTan High," an all boys school that was full of snobby upperclassmen and scared shitless freshmen. Unfortunately for him, he didn't have many friends and there was just so much drama at school that he wasn't interested in actually keeping friends from school anyway.

You see, he met this kid last year at a party that he really didn't wanna go to but he went anyway to respect his cousin in her 15th birthday party. They hated eachother. She was supposed to drive him home after the party but she dipped and stole her parents'car without telling anyone leaving Jungkook stranded at a party in the middle of a town 2 hours away from home.

Luckily, a boy that was maybe a year older than him had a car and offered to drive him home. They kept contact and attempted to hang out but the kid always (and I mean always) ended up ditching him or ghosting him every single time they were supposed to hang out.

Well, he knew that it was stupid to still talk to him but he really wanted to hang out with someone so he just gave it the benefit of doubt in hopes his friend would maybe have a free day and not have to ditch and ghost.

Not only did that jerk ghost him constantly, but he would give the LAMEST excuses.

"Oh sorry, I'm just tired so I didn't pick up until now. Yes I know we were supposed to meet up 5 hours ago but I just didn't feel like it. Yea yea Ill let you know beforehand next time whatever." or "Oh my car broke down. Yea I have my mom's car and she is off today but... I just can't. Yea I know I was supposed to pick you up an hour ago but I didn't want to tell you."

It was always just shit like that. He NEVER told him he canceled plans until hours after they were meant to meet up.

This was simply the last straw for him though. His graduation party had just passed and his friend promised to be there. Well spoiler alert, he never showed up. This really wasn't too shocking but he soon got a call from that friend saying that he would make it up to kook.

"Yeah right" jungkook thought to himself. They scheduled a date at the mall with a set time for 12:30 and waited.

Soon, that day came and yet again, there was no sign of him. Jungkook sighed and officially cut ties with that kid instantly. Luckily for him, there was at least one other person he knew that would hopefully be willing to hang out. The only thing is, Namjoon had just gotten over a breakup with Jin after like 3 years. It was a long story but all Jungkook knew was that it was painful.

"Let's just see how he's feeling first."

He thought to himself as he pulled out his phone and texted him.

YOU: Hey Hyung, how are you feeling? Wanna go to the mall in like an hour? Maybe we can get your mind off things?

Namjoon Hyung: Hey kook. Yea I can go for that. do you have a ride or do you need me to come get you?

YOU: Yea I do need a ride but I could give you gas money if you want? Im just bored and wanna hang out.

Namjoon Hyung: No worries kook it's not that far and you live like 2 blocks away. Ill be over in an hour :)

YOU: Ok, thank you hyungie

Jungkook smiled to himself knowing that soon his boredom will be dampened and his friend can do something other than crying in his room forever. He went to get his bag and put on a little makeup. He wasn't gonna put on a lot but enough to bring out his eyes. Once he finished he sprayed a bit of perfume and went to the living room to wait. It wasn't long until he got a text from Namjoon letting him know he was outside. Kook quickly replied and went to say goodbye to his mom and dad.
