Ok so this is based off of the Blood Sweat and Tears music vid. Its my favorite mv and so I thought why not include it?. I will be making this chapter into a book later on, this is just a rough draft of that so it will be longer and more plot heavy. 

This story will include biblical mentions of creation and the fall of Lucifer. I grew up in a religious school but I am not religious. This is not meant to offend anyone at all as this is fiction.

In life, there is balance. 

At least, that's what Jungkook was taught since he was a child. 

All his childhood he was taught the importance of balance in everything around him whether it's between man and nature, calm and storm, kindness and violence, good and evil. 

In this, there was also a balance between the existence of Heaven and Hell. This was the most relevant to him as he was to become an angel, but not just any angel. He was to become the angel of Peace and Light. His job would be to maintain his part of the balance like a weight on a scale. 

You see, there was a war thousands of years ago when the creation of the universe happened. There was an angel, Lucifer, who was God's most favorite amongst the rest. There was a problem however. Lucifer saw the world differently. He believed that humans and angels alike shouldn't exist solely to honor God above all else. He believed that that they should have the freedom to choose what was right. For that, he was cast out of heaven and became what most refer to him as: The devil. 

This is what started it all. The angels and humans that loved God and wanted nothing else but to worship him started a war with the angels and humans that wanted change and freedom to choose. They were called "Dark dwellers" for having  other ways of thinking and were often killed or tortured to "Cleanse the world." 

Lucifer called out to God asking for a treaty, a deal if you will. God and Lucifer will choose one angel (guardian of Balance) each to keep a balance in Light and Dark. In this, the angels of light will stop their mass killings and the angels of dark will leave humans alone to decide for themselves what to believe in. When each Guardian dies, a new one will be chosen based on their deeds and upbringings. There is very specific rules about choosing a Guardian. 

1. The previous guardian must be picked by God, the ruler of heaven (light) and the other, Lucifer, ruler of hell (The void/darkness) 

2. To choose a new guardian, the previous one must die. They must maintain the balance so the guardians themselves get to decide what path they want, light or dark which is why they are carefully picked. 

3. If both guardians end up on the light side, then Heaven wins the war and Hell is erased from existence. If they end up on the dark side, then hell wins the war and the universe becomes Lucifer's domain. 

That is where Jungkook comes in. 

Jungkook was the son of Namjoon, angel of knowledge. Namjoon was the headmaster of a school in heaven which taught the most promising angels, ones that could guide humans to a more "Holy path." These angels, would grow up to be in God's choir for the Rapture (Return of God to the physical realm of Earth). Jungkook had some very promising scores in his exams and quests so he was chosen to become the next Guardian of Light.
