"Dean, he's gonna say no," Charlie sighed out, watching the dark trees outside her window.

"Well, we'll never know unless we give it a shot, Smidge," Dean replied, still looking directly ahead of him.

The two siblings were on their way to the apartment building beside the famous Stanford Univeristy. No, they did not go there. However, their brother, Sam, did.

Sam had left them and their Dad around four years ago to go to college. He wanted to escape the family buisness, lead a normal life. John had strictly told him that if he left, he was not welcomed back. And so he left.

They finally pulled up down the street from the apartment building, hesitantly looking ouy the car window. The two siblings looked up at the apartment building with a big sigh.

"He left us for this place?" Dean scoffed. "Creepy as shit," he muttered.

About two hours later, the siblings were still sat in the same positions, staring out the front window of the car. Charlie anxiously bit her nails, fidgeting with the switchblade her two brothers had given her for her twelve birthday.

Dean and Sam had both carved their initials, 'DW' and 'SW' onto it especially for her, along with her own - 'CW'. She always held onto the small weapon ever since. She would be absolutely beside herself if she ever lost it.

Deans mood had completely changed since they pulled up, and Charlie could tell he was nervous. She suddenly whipped her head to face him.

"Dean, we have to go in at some point," she told him.

"Yeah, I know, and we will, just wait a few more minutes," he told her, still looking out the window. He would never admit it and try hide it, but he was so scared that Sam wasn't going to want to come with them, and so was Charlie.

"You don't have to be nervous, you know," she tried to comfort him, although she was still nervous herself. "Be excited to see Sammy after two years," she said, giving him a small nudge on the shoulder.

"I am not nervous," Dean sternly said, finally looking at her and pointing a finger. Charlie raised her brows at him. "I'm not," he repeated, looking at her expression.
