Y/N walked down a quiet street, turning to a corner. She was never late for school, and had left home early to enjoy her walk there.

At one point, she could hear loud footsteps behind her, from a few blocks down. "I'm late!" A certain redhead yelled.

Y/N did not accelerate her pace, because she knew that it wasn't late at all. In fact, they were five minutes early. Maybe Anzu had woken up on the wrong side of bed, and the delusions from playing too many otome games got to her.

Soon, they were nearing school, with two minutes to spare. Anzu was getting closer to where Y/N was, and the building was right across the street.

As Y/N crossed the seemingly clear road, a car violently slammed onto her side, forcefully making her flip in the air multiple times, before she fell, causing her to be unconscious.

The car stopped, the driver realizing what had happened. Anzu stepped forward, worriedly grabbing Y/N's shoulders.

"Are you alright?" She said, glaring at the boy who stepped out. "What's with you always being involved in some sort of car crash every week?"

Hijiri apathetically stared at the scene before him, "Maybe she was just so astonished by my appearance that she decided to walk across the street right when Tsuchiya was about to let me off."

Anzu defended Y/N, "Look at me. I'm not attracted to you at all. You need to improve your behavior. She was minding her own business and the crash coincidentally happened. If anything, she'll probably hate you for this."

The girl in Anzu's arms started to move, her eyes blinking open in surprise. "Where...am I? Have I gone to heaven?" She looked towards the distressed girl in front of her, dazzled.

"What the-" Anzu dropped her on the cement ground in shock, rendering the girl unconscious once again. This must be some trick! I thought the people Riri was targeting were ikemen, but that stupid potato-looking dumbass decided it was okay to make her get hurt for my attention!?

Later, Y/N woke up, only to find herself in a soft, white bed.

"Where am I?" She asked, confused. The last thing she had remembered was crossing the street to get to school.

"You're at the school infirmary," An annoyed voice responded.

She looked up, trying to figure out who was sitting next to her bed. The only thing she could see were blurry spots. Although she was conscious again, it seemed that her vision had not returned just yet.

Her head was pounding. When she tried to sit up, she slumped back onto the bed straight away.

Even in these circumstances, she couldn't help but feel a little bit happy that someone cared enough to visit her at the nurse's office.

"What happened?"

"Well..." The voice started, explaining why they had gotten to this point. "You were involved in a car crash. I was this close to getting to school, and you ended up crossing the street right when I was being driven in a car."

Immediately, her mood was ruined. She could already tell who this person was, just from the way they spoke.

"You're making this sound like it's my fault!" She retorted, annoyed with Hijiri. Thankfully, he did not try to argue with her. "It was an accident. Both of us are equally wrong."

"Does this mean you owe me?"

"We're both wrong. Also, I'm the one that got hurt!"

"What if I took you on a date to make up with it?"

"What the fuck!? I barely know you!" Y/N was rendered speechless by his bold words. Even though she was feeling a little better, she almost felt dizzy again.

Even though she was a bit confused, she decided to agree.

"Sure, I guess. I don't have anything to do tomorrow, anyway."
