WHY AM I NOT AWAKE YET !? This should be a dream. It must be. How can I be walking side by side with Dohwa Baek? A character which exists in webtoon and imagination only. Yes, I'm a delusional person but I'm aware about reality too.
Just please don't tell me I got transmitted in a webtoon out of nowhere. There is no way I got isekai when I was sleeping as I've read on those fanfictions', I have to get hit by a truck-kun. And I don't think truck-kun would fly to my bedroom which is on the first floor just to get me isekai!
I've become someone named Yojeong Baek who happens to be a twin sister of Dohwa Baek, but it was never shown in the webtoon that he had a sibling. On top of that, my hair is black while Dohwa's hair is pure beige. Our name doesn't sound like what twins would be named. It's just our faces that are very charming for some reason and we have a mole in the same place. Only if you look closely at us then you'll realise we are twins.
Though there is another thing bugging me. In episode 12, it was stated that Dohwa Baek was rich and all but when I woke up this morning, I was in an old apartment, sleeping on a mattress in the same room as Dohwa. This is very confusing and stressful. I sigh.
"This is the fifth time," Dohwa says for the first time since we left the ho—Our home.
"What?" I look up at him and question. His height is no joke, my neck hurts already.
"You sighed," He says. My eyes widened in realisation. He has been counting?
"Oh," I just reply with that and look down as I clutch on my messenger bag's strap. I feel Dohwa's gaze on me makes the place feel hot. Then he puts his arm around my shoulder and pulls me towards him. "Hey, this is not the Yojeong I know," He says and kind of headlocks me.
"Let go of me," I protest and struggle but what the fuck? He is way too strong. I hear him chuckling.
"First tell me, why are you so lost?" He asks, still taking me as a hostage.
"I'm not," I reply as I continue to struggle.
"You didn't beat me up when I poured a bucket of cold water on you," He says and I just halt my actions.
I don't know what Yojeong was like. I didn't even know she existed in the webtoon. There's no way she existed, even if she did, she would be introduced in the webtoon as Dohwa's twin. My head is starting to ache because of all this.
"Ya, YJ." He calls me out by a name that must be his twin's nickname and I snap out of my thoughts.
"It's just the academic stress," I reply and his grip slips down. He bought the lie? That's interesting.
"You must be working hard to defeat Ra-im," That catches me off guard. Me, defeating Ra-im? Now what is this? A new discovery, great—screw you.
