TOMORROW IS EUNHYEOK'S BIRTHDAY !! After coming out of the bathroom, I heard Ra-im and her friends talking about it. After that, I enter Sooae's room and she had came back with some snacks with her. She is now laying on her bed while Eunhyeok is on the floor with a small table that must have been given by Sooae.
"What took you so long?" I ask her as I sit beside her.
"I met Dohwa on my way," I stared at her reply. She takes a bite of her chips and looks at me when she lets out a small huh.
"Oh," I say and after that we three start to study together and without realising, the time flows by quickly. I was sitting on Sooae's study table while Eunhyeok was on the floor and Sooae on her bed.
Suddenly, my phone starts ringing and I check the caller's name. It's Dohwa. I accepted the call.
"Dohwa–" He cuts me off and starts to talk rapidly.
"Where are you? Have you looked at the time!? It's past 9 pm!" He exclaims and starts to scold me while I just listen to him with a small smile. Cute–stop!
"When are you coming home?" He asks with a sigh. He is a brother who is worried about his sister! There is nothing to think more than that. I remind myself.
"I am having a group study," I reply. "I have a lot to cover so maybe after eleven," I add to which he sighs. Then suddenly, he chuckles which makes me feel something but I don't want to know what it is.
"At least someone wants to make a stable future in the Baek family," He says rather... sadly.
"Work hard, duckling," He laughs and all I know in this world is that I want to protect that laugh. But wait–
"Duckling?" I ask, annoyed.
"Oh, right, I used that name after a long time." He chuckles. "Anyways, keep up the good work. I will get going now. Bye." And he cuts the call.

Why didn't Yojeong stand up for such a great brother? I would die to have a sibling like that. I start to dwell in my thoughts.
"Was that your boyfriend?" I snap out of my thoughts instantly at Sooae's question. I look back at her in disbelief though I would die to have Dohwa as my significant other. It's not possible. I cry in my head.
"No!" I exclaim and she tilts her head.
"Then who was it?" She asks. "You sounded quite happy."
My gaze lands upon Eunhyeok, who looks at me curiously. I hesitate for a bit before I sigh.
"It was my big brother," I reply and both of their expressions change into surprised ones.
"You have a brother?" Sooae questions in shock. "I didn't know that. Besides, you hardly ever talk about yourself." She adds to which I shrug.
