Hearing the officer, everyone ran outside and saw a female body being lifted from the car's trunk to the ambulance. The police brought along an ambulance with them, just in case anyone was hurt. Minji felt desperate and ran towards Nancy.
"Is she okay?" Minji asked with a worried look.
The ambulance crew assured everyone that she was just unconscious because of losing a lot of blood. Hearing this Minji felt a little bit of relief but her heart was still beating like crazy as Hanni was yet to be found.
The other agents were waiting in the car across the street. They weren't supposed to reveal themselves. But seeing Nancy in that state, V couldn't stay put and ran to the ambulance. Tears were streaming down his cheeks incessantly and holding her lifeless hand, he got inside the ambulance.
After the ambulance left for the hospital, suddenly officer Yoongi came out of the Park mansion. He was supporting Hanni to walk as she looked very pale and weak. Minji's heart skipped a beat seeing her in this condition.
Hana was still standing at the doorstep with the female officer and eyeing Hanni like a hawk.
Then all of a sudden, pushing the officer violently, she ran towards Hanni and strangled her throat.
"It's all your fault! I'll kill you and I'll also kill that disgusting thing growing inside you! Minji is mine only!" Hana shouted while strangling Hanni.
Everyone got shocked at this unexpected incident and ran towards them in a hurry. Yoongi somehow managed to pull Hana away from Hanni and Minji was fast enough to engulf Hanni in the safety of her arms.
Mr Park used to think highly of his daughter but seeing her behaving this way, he felt a sharp pain in his weak heart. He got a heart attack and taken to the hospital, while Hana was arrested and taken to the police station.
Meanwhile, Hanni kept sobbing while snuggling in Minji's chest.
She was still traumatized. She was kidnapped two times in a single day, not to mention, while being pregnant.
"It's okay, it's okay. I'm not gonna let anything happen to you again. You'll be fine, hmm" Minji cooed while caressing her back softly.
However, Hanni was taken to the hospital for necessary checkups.

She was lying on the bed when an unfamiliar aged woman entered her room.
"Oh my God, you poor thing How is my grandchild?" The woman asked and sat beside Hanni.
Hanni was confused and kept looking at the woman with her widened eyes.
"Oh don't be scared dear. I'm Minji's mother. I wanted to meet you in person but never thought that we'd meet like this. Get well soon and give birth to a healthy baby. I can't wait to see my mini Minji," Mrs Kim said with a smile and caressed Hanni's head with motherly affection.
Then she asked Hanni some random things to get to know her better. While they were chatting, Mr Kim was waiting outside the cabin and hesitating if he should go inside or not. He was actually very ashamed and felt bad for the girl whom he called a whore and gold digger.
"What are you doing here?" Minji asked, seeing Her father.
"Minji... I don't know how to say this but I'm really sorry. I never imagined Hana could do something like this. Hope you can forgive your old man"
Minji just nodded and then Mr Kim embraced her in a fatherly manner. and Minji introduced Hanni to her father and it went quite well. Jennie also came to visit Hanni. And at the end of the day, Minji took Hanni to Her own apartment.
It was late at night and it was raining heavily with thunderstorm.
Minji was still awake as she was going through the documents regarding the Viper gang. As long as the gang was active, Hanni wouldn't be able to walk freely. So she was desperate to catch the leader and end everything once and for all.
She was deeply engrossed in the documents when suddenly she heard the sound of breaking of a glass. The sound came from Hanni's room and realizing it, she ran there in a hurry. She opened the door only to find Hanni breathing heavily and there was a broken glass on the floor which she kept earlier on the night stand beside her bed.
"Hey is everything okay? What happened?" Minji asked calmly as she went near and sat on the edge of her bed.
"I had a nightmare. My ba-baby...." Minji tried to explain while caressing her belly.
"Shhh... It's okay. I'm here now, nothing's gonna happen to the baby or to you," Minji assured and pulled her in a tight hug.
She started sobbing again while holding her tightly. Her tight grip only indicated that she was still scared and she needed someone to hold onto. So Minji laid down on the bed and engulfed her completely in her warm embrace.
"Let me put you to sleep, hmm"
And just like that Minji started humming a sweet song to her. While singing, her fingers unknowingly caressed her silky hair. To her it felt like she finally found peace and she wanted to stay like this forever.
"I used to think that having someone in my life will make me weak and they'll snatch away my peace and freedom. But now that you re in my arms like this, I just never want to let you go. The fact that I'm gonna be a dada doesn't make me scared or nervous. Instead it makes me feel some kind of joy and I just can't wait to hold that little soul in my hands. The mere thought of starting a family with you, makes me feel butterflies. I didn't know that I had it in me. Is this what falling in love means? Have I already fallen for you Pham Hanni"
Minji whispered to herself while holding her small figure very dearly. She thought Hanni was asleep but Hanni was awake enough to hear her each and every word. But she played along and kept her eyes closed and Minji kissed her head and butterflies were now tickling her stomach like crazy.
