It's cold...
So cold...
I'm hungry...
I'm tired...Those are the only things going through my mind as I trudge along through the snowy wasteland that is one of the many wooded areas of Kentucky.
Right, I should probably introduce myself. I can't tell you my name but I can tell you what I'm called, in the circus I was called, "Neon Freak". Freak. I never did like that word. Freak, unusual, abnormal, weird... freak. The word I've come to hate so much has filled my life. "Circus freak", "Freakshow", "Neon Freak"... Such a hostile word, yet it suits my being.
I can't tell you what I am but I can tell you what I'm not, human. Physically I'm no different, brown hair, tan skin, the correct amount of limbs. The only thing different is the stupid vibrant blue and yellow blood that courses through my veins. It's only noticeable in my arms which is where I got my nickname and part of the reason I was in the freakshow, along with my ability to bounce back from any damage and no signs of aging. God, I've been on this earth too long...
I can see the lights from a city up ahead. I think I'm gonna take a nap, I haven't slept in three weeks... I need this.
