I float there, no one but me to keep me company. The void filled with nothing but the black emptiness that surrounds me. My thoughts overwhelm me. I fall, reaching up hoping someone or something was there to save me. Nothing was there. No one was there to save me.
I sit up gasping for air. I was in my living room. I was safe. There was banging upon my door. I slowly get up and open the door. It was Alex. I was thrilled to see a old friend of mine.
"Younie. Its been a while haven't it." he rubs the back of his head. I could tell he was nervous. I invite him inside for coffee. We sat at my table and chatted. I enjoyed my time with Alex. I might have enjoyed it a little too much.
"Huh, its been two hours already? I better get to work. Ill see you later Younie." Alex said walking out the door. I wave and smile. My cheeks heated up.
Not again.
