Cloud woke up to rustling in the bush next to her.

Her eyes opened at the slowest possible speed as she yawned. She hummed, looking into the small shrub and between the leaves and spiderwebs. Suddenly, a small pair of eyes startled her as it stared back at her. Squirrel.

Swiftly, Cloud reached her right Talon toward the busy, snatching the furry animal from its hiding place and killing it quickly. She plopped it into her mouth, dissatisfied with taste and texture.

I'll go hunting then, she thought, getting your and stretching. Hyacinth, who was napping beside her, muttered something about bloody murder and rolled onto her side, causing Cloud to back away and stare at her. She looked at the dragonets still sleeping around now out campfire.

Poisonwing, Magenta, Hyacinth, Gill, Reed, Kolluth, Seashell, and Cloud. Did she say Tourmaline already? She narrowed her eyes. There weren't a glimpse of orange scales anywhere. Maybe she was still angry about the fact that Cloud had burnt her cheek.

Cloud groaned. "Motherfucker."

"Exactly what I'd be doing to your mom," a voice said behind her.

"Shut up, Reed," she demanded, turning her head to stare at the green dragon. "Go to bed."

"I'd do otherwise," he yawned. "I'm awake and energized. Wanna go hunting?"

"That's what I was find to do before your fatass interrupted me," she growled at him.

"You were standing in one place the past two minutes," he pointed out. "If you were going to fly, you sure looked like you were having second thoughts."

"I actually was having a thought," Cloud muttered, turning fully to stare at him. "Do you know where Tourmaline is?"

"No. Why? Wanna say your apology song?" Reed snickered. Cloud narrowed her eyes and purposefully thought of something that made her angry so her scales would start steaming. He backed away with a grin. "What?"

"All I did was ask, never said I was going to apologize," she snarled. "Goodbye."

She leaped into the air and flew above him, doing a quick U-turn to scan the floor. She propelled her self upward with her large wings and slapped the air with her tail. As she scanned the ground, she heard wing beats from behind her and groaned.

"LEAVE me ALONE, Reed," she snarled.

"No," he answered, Valmy sliding beside her and sending her a cheeky grin.

"Respect your elders."

"Okay, Grandma!" He chirped. Cloud narrowed her eyes, feeling very irritated. "Are we supposed to leave the campsite?"

"Sure," Cloud muttered.

"No we're not," said another voice. The two dragonets ahead stopped and turned around in sync, widening their eyes at the intruder.

Kolluth's burgundy and blue scales shimmered orange as his eyes looked tired and calm.

"You're supposed to stay at the campsite," Kolluth repeated. They blinked at him.

"Then why'd you follow us?" Cloud smiled mischievously.

"''Cus I don't want to be responsible for the missing dragonets, you guys and Tourmaline."

"You noticed she was gone too?" Reed said. "Thought you were asleep."

"Ive been awake for two hours," he said. "The egg was moving."

"Good," Cloud said. "Now go back and stare at the egg for another three." Reed snorted.

"Literally equivalent to watching Aunt Anemone sign dozens upon dozens of documents of approval of new residents," Reed sighed. "Thats boring."
