Melody's POV
I woke up in a room that I recognized. It was Bowser's room. Then I remembered something.  My stuff. I never got my stuff from my cave.

I got up but tripped over something. It was my bag. I checked, and all my stuff was there.

I pulled out my hairbrush and brushed my hair. Luckily it's short. I changed into the clothes that were given to me.

I heard a knock at the door. I opened it, and it was Boswer Jr. "I knew you'd come back," he hugged me. He's such a sweet kid.

I don't know why, but I have this feeling that I should protect him at all costs.

"So, are you going to stay with us?" Jr. asked. "That is up to your dad," I said. "Of course you can stay with us," Boswer said from behind.

"She really is going to be my new mama?" Jr. Asked. I picked him up and spun around. "Of course I'm going to be your new mom," I said. Jr. happily raised his arms.

"We should have dinner now," Boswer  said. "It's nighttime already. How long was I asleep?" I asked. "Four hours," Boswer said. "I am so sorry for sleeping in your room," I apologized.

"No worries," Boswer said. "Are you guys in love?" Jr. asked. Boswer and I looked at each other. What do we tell him?
"Sorry. No Jr.," Boswer said. Jr. was disappointed. Boswer picked him up, and we walked to the dining room. We had dinner. Boswer and Jr were asking me questions about what I like and dislike.

They seem so happy to get to know me. The one thing about me they can't know is my dark past.

"Hey, you ok?" Jr. asked. "Yeah. Guess I'm still tired," I said. I stood up and went to Bowser's room.

Bowser's POV
Jr. and I looked at each other in confusion. "Dad, is she ok?" Jr asked. "I don't know, son," I said. "Maybe I should check on her," Jr said. "No wonder. I'll check on her," I said. I stood up to follow her.

Melody went to my room. I stood a few feet from my door, then I opened my door. Melody was sitting on the bed.

"Hey, you ok?" I asked. "Yeah, just thinking," Melody said. I sat next to her. We didn't even talk. As we sat in  silence, I just thought of something.

"You know, if something bothers me, I go to my garden," I said. "You have a garden?" Melody asked. I nodded my head.

"If you want, I'll show you tomorrow," I offered. "Yes. I'd love that," Melody said. I smiled at her. Melody began to yawn.

"We should get some sleep," I said. "Yeah," Melody said. I had given her some pajamas. Melody got dressed in the bathroom. Then we went to bed.
