Melody's POV
I went to Jr's room to tell him the good news. Jr was so happy. He ran up to me, hugged me.
A week passed, and Jr. and I have been really close friends. There were times I had to discipline him. I wouldn't hit him, just scolded him.
Jr didn't like it, but he is becoming a well-behaved kid.
Boswer and I are friends. For now. I mean, he still doesn't fully trust me. Kamek wouldn't talk to me.
I get it, I'm a strange person who showed up out of nowhere. Anyway, I was having fun with Jr. when I heard a familiar voice.
I looked up, and it was Wario. He was standing on the window sill. I stood up and went in front of Jr.
"Don't come near him," I said. Wario chuckled and approached me. "I'm not here for this baby, I'm here for you, my love," Wario said as he grabbed my wrist.
I tried to get away from his grip, but he was so strong. "Let go," I demanded. "You're not escaping from me," Wario said. When I tried to escape, Wario screamed.
Jr. was biting Wario's leg. Wario let's go of me and kicks Jr. Which led him flying across the room.
I gasped at the sight of that. I felt so angry. I grabbed Wario and punched him in the face.
I brought him close to my face. "How dare you hurt my son. Come here again, and I won't hesitate to hurt you....again," I threatened.
Wario stepped back. "You'll be mine again. If you get married to Boswer, your kid will be gone," Wario threatened.
Wario escaped through the window. I sighed and ran towards Jr. "Jr. Are you ok?" I asked. "Yes, I'm fine," Jr. said.
I picked him up and took him to his bed. "Jr., I'm going to talk to your dad about what happened," I said.
"He's going to be very mad," Jr. pointed out.
"I'm willing to take the risk," I said, patting his head.
I stood up and went to Bowser's room.
Bowser's POV
I growled and punched the wall. How dare he hurt my son. I turned towards Melody. She had the most terrified look.
"I'm sorry, it's just that Jr. is important to me. I hate to see him hurt," I said.
I sat down on my bed. Melody sat next to me. "I get it. Jr. is also important to me too. After Wario hurt him, I was mad. I even said he's my son," Melody said.
I looked at her in shock. Did she call Jr. her son? "Sorry about that. I didn't mean to call him my son," Melody apologized.
"N...No. It's fine. Jr. seems very attached to you. You're the mother he never knew he needed. When I captured Princess Peach, she and Jr. never got along. They always argue that Jr. once told me he never wanted her as a mother," I told her.
Melody chuckled. "So, what are we going to do about Wario?" Melody asked. "We have to protect my kingdom. He might say something to the mushroom kingdom," I said.
Melody nodded her head and left my room.
