Emmett, had a crush on Cookie for a while Cookie and Emmett were great friends and would always be touchy and close with one another when they would hang out. Cookie would do it as a joke but Emmett would catch feelings because of this, he wouldn't muster up enough courage to actually take action and try to pursue them, as he was afraid of losing the friendship both of them treasured. Cookie always thought it was a joke and messed around with Emmett, thinking nothing of it. Emmett really had no chance. Cookie was the popular girl in school, everyone loved her. Guys who would drool and flock at the site of her, they seemed like unlikely friends Emmett was the weird trans guy no one liked, but Cookie always stuck with Emmett. They were practically tied together by the waist
On one faithful day, it was lunch time and they were heading towards the cafeteria, but then Cookie would suddenly pause, still as a statue, she then takes a glance at Emmett. Emmett had no clue what was going on he was worried that he might've done something wrong. But suddenly without a warning Cookie would pin Emmett against the lockers, Emmett was really caught off guard Cookie has never done something like this so he had thought something was severely wrong.
"W-whats with this..?" Emmett said you could tell he was nervous with his voice shaking, his heart beating out of his chest. Cookie was so close to him he could feel every single inhale and exhale she took. It was so tense you could cut it with a kitchen knife. It was here when people started to notice them, you could hear people talking and judging quietly. They all thought how could a guy like Emmett manage to land a girl like Cookie?? What must this guy have been doing to make Cookie even do something like that.
Cookie stared at Emmett intensely, for what felt like hours. Emmett was blushing intensely he had never seen Cookie like this, Cookie then sighed let goes of Emmett seeming to be disappointed that nothing happened, both of them were pretty awkward after that. Emmett felt ashamed and beaten self up for just staring at her the whole time instead of taking a chance to get himself out of the friend zone. But he just froze up instead. They both went their separate ways after lunch.
