Emmett, sitting in his final class for the day, he was constantly looking at the clock looking forward to the final bell. Then it rang, as everyone was rushing to get out of the class he had spotted Cookie, Emmett ran towards Cookie catching up to her.
"Hey! Wait up!" Emmett said to get Cookie's attention. Cookie looks back and smiles awkwardly at Emmett,
"oh, hey Emmett!" As they were walking next to each other Emmett already felt awkward about what happened earlier that day. "Oh uhm I'm sorry about earlier.." Cookie says while looking away slightly feeling ashamed in herself.
"Oh, that? It's alright.." Emmett had honestly liked Cookie being that close to him but it felt weird to even bring that up at this moment. "Right, well do you possibly wanna come over to my place today?" Cookie looks over to Emmett, waiting for an answer.
"Oh really? I-I'd love to!" Emmett's heart was racing, this could be his big break they could finally be a thing! He was shaking out of just pure excitement. "You're shaking, are you alright Emmett?" Cookie said, looking concerned for Emmett "O-oh yeah! I'm just kinda..uhm..uh.." Cookie wrapping her arms around Emmett, in some sort of way to comfort him. Emmett tried not to think too much of this action as they made their way to head out of school, some people were staring at them while they walked down the halls. With everyone staring daggers at them it naturally made Emmett anxious, Cookie then made her grip on him tighter.
They finally made their way out of the school, it was a beautiful day you can just feel the warmth of lemon colored sun to the lush emerald green filled trees blowing in the lovely wind, the colorful flowers and the colors were so radiant that you could practically taste them. The ladybugs flying around, the bees collecting pollen flying from flower to flower you just had to pause and admire the beauty of nature. The two stopped walking and just sat down under a huge tree, it felt so refreshing just sitting down and admiring nature. Emmett was too busy staring at the trees and flowers to notice how nervous Cookie looked, Cookie had caught feelings for Emmett pretty recently. She had tried to make a move earlier but she was just stuck and couldn't do anything. Emmett just could not take a hint, he was oblivious to how Cookie felt, even though he had felt the same. He was just too nervous to really do anything.
Cookie would pull Emmett's head towards her, it was so sudden that he couldn't process it so he just completely froze up. Cookie would stare into Emmett's eyes deeply, but in a loving way. Emmett still couldn't take a hint so Cookie had to make the first move so that they weren't just stuck staring at each other again like fools. Cookie would start to lean towards Emmett's face, he wasn't expecting it. He was so nervous he couldn't even understand how he even got here. Why him out of everyone? why is he the one that cookie picked? But then, he felt Cookie's lips contact his, Cookie then suddenly pulled away. Slightly pushing him.
They both stayed silent, trying to process what happened. Emmett was bright red, he could blend in with the radiant flowers behind him. Cookie would look over to Emmett, she was also blushing but not as much as him. "W-we should probably start heading to my place huh..?" Cookie said, they're voice shaking, probably from the rush they got from that first kiss. Cookie first got up and looked down at Emmett "Oh yeah..! Yeah...we should.." Emmett replied still blushing from what just happened. Cookie helped him up and they continued down the street towards Cookie's place.
