Penny paced her bedroom. From looking outside her window, to constantly checking her door. She worried. She wondered. She wept. Then worried some more. Spending her whole day awaiting her brothers return. She knew she must keep the location of her brother a secret. After hours and hours of pacing, there was a knock on her door.

"Yes.." she whimpered.

"It's Nal, I wanted to check on you"

"Oh yes, come in". Penny quickly opened her door, offering Nalander to come inside. Passing by his cousin, he sat on the cushioned bed.

"I wanted to check on you, but before I could, you were already gone" he said with a bit of a chuckle.

"I'm fine, thank you!" she beamed, and a quick smile was thrown across her face. Rising from the bed, Nalander let out a deep sigh. "A person who was ok...would not react in such ways" he proclaimed. "Tell me what's wrong, I'm always here". Penny then turned towards the window. Unsure of what she should tell the prince. She would question him but it's rare if he knew the truth. She trusted Nalander, but didn't know what to tell him.

"Do you know anything about my mother" she blurted. Startled, the young prince shook his head no, as he knew nothing about Frigga.

"I just know that she's your mother" he proclaims. "And she got banished"

"Yes but do you know why?" she says. Coming to a stand still, she begins to nipple on her fingernails, nervous of what may be said next.

"I'm sorry Penny...but I do not know" he says, signing before he spoke. He then placed his hands on her shoulder, feeling her shoulders rise as she let out one breath after another. Her eyes started to fill with tears, and she softly began to weep. She didn't understand...and neither did Nalander. They were both pondering on the same question. What is the true purpose of this? Before they came of age, no-one ever thought about complex things like this. The true meaning behind the presence of Eric and Penny, and why the king never went into detail about Frigga's banishment. Penny sniffles, as she wipes the tears from her watery eyes.

"I'm sorry Nal.." she sniffles.

"Don't apologize, I know things like this can hurt" he replied, lifting his hands from her shoulder. Moving from her side, Nalander made his way to the window and observed the outside, while Penny still was silently weeping. The garden in the far distance, and maids rinsing and wiping the clothes of the queens. The chirping of the doves and birds on this early morning, and the way the clouds seemed to hug the sun. The wind dancing its way in between the plant life located in the garden.

So many questions, yet no answers. Nalander thought among himself. He then turned from the window, and stares at Penny, who is now taking deep breathes, and wiping away her last tears.

"I should wait for Eric to come back" she murmurs softly.

"I never knew he left" he replied. Penny knew then she made a mistake. Meeting him eye to eye she smiled.

"I'm all better now Nal" she beamed. "Thank you!". Trying to escort Nalander out of her bedroom, her sniffles grew more and more.

"Are you sure, I can stay if you..."

"No, I'm fine" she blurted, pushing her cousin out of the door. After kicking him out, she continued to pace her bedroom. She began to bite the tips of her nails, and her body began to slightly tremble. Her mind began to race, thought after thought, and her sight began to dullen. Breath shortened, traces of sweat began to trail down her dome. Why was she so nervous ? Where was her brother ? What was his plan ? Did she just sell him out ?
