Adeline and Jacob were having the best time without Bella being around to annoy them. It was almost like the time when Bella went to Italy to save Edward. Adeline also managed to convince her dad to invite Hazel and Jacob for dinner, which she will be making if they want the food to be edible.

Adeline was just starting the dinner when their was a knock on the door.
"Da-"
"I got It!" Charlie cut her off, going to the door. "Oh, it's you." He said as soon as he opened the door.
Jacob gave him a smile. "Nice seeing you too Mr. Swan."
Charlie waved his hand letting Jacob inside. "Just because you dating my daughter doesn't mean you can call me 'Mr. Swan.' And it's good to see you." Charlie says as he shuts the door behind Jacob.
Adeline giggles hearing the whole thing. "Dad's just nervous because his girlfriend his coming over."
Jacob smiles. "Oh, that was the woman with you at the wedding. Harper?"
Charlie shook his head. "No, Hazel." Charlie ran his hand though his hair making it look all weird.
Adeline sighed and started cutting carrots. "Dad, your hair."
Charlie groaned as he walked to the bathroom. "Again?"
As soon as Charlie was out of sight Jacob quickly walked behind Adeline and gave her a hug. Then he lifted up the flowers he bought for her and put them in front of her. "Oh, Jacob there beautiful, I love them... You didn't have to get these for me."
"Of course I did." Jacob kissed her cheek. "I love you darling."
Adeline giggled. "Darling? I like that." Adeline gently took the flowers from him and got a vase. "I love you too." Adeline turned back to him after putting water in the vase with the flowers.
Jacob smiled looking down the hall to see if Charlie was coming back to the kitchen, he wasn't. Jacob smirked and put his hands on the back of her thighs and lifted her up onto the counter. Jacob placed kisses all over her face. "My beautiful, beautiful girl. I love you so much. I don't ever want to have a life without you. I knew that you would be my whole world since the very first time I laid eyes on you. So, I was hoping that you would accept this." Jacob reached into his project and pulled out a ring. Jacob chuckled nervously. "Now, it's not an engagement ring, but a promise. It was my mom's, and I want you to have it."
Adeline smiled put her hand on the back of his neck and pulled him close and kissed him not trusting her voice. "Of course I would accept it, I love you Jacob, so so much."
