Jayveer's POV

Babasa is right. I admit I have feelings for her. She had done many things for me.
"It's not the point. " I said.

"Hum samajh te hein ki aap abh bhi aapka past bhula nehi saake aap ko abhi bhi dhoke ka daar hein. Paar mein aapki maasa ki kasam leke bol sakta hu ki Muskaan uss ladki jesi nehi hein. Aap ek kadam uske wor barake to dekhiye wo aapke sukh dukh aur haar samey aapka sath dengi.Ek bar aapke iss rishtey ko ek moka dekh ke to dekhiye.Aap apke har taklif dhul jayenge."
(We understand that you still cannot forget your past and you still have the fear of being betrayed. But, I can swear on your mother that Muskan is not like that girl. Just take one step towards her; she will be with you in your happiness, sorrow, and defeat. Just take a look at this relationship of yours once. All your pain will be washed away.)

"Paar hume ye daar hein ki..... Akhir mein hum unhein dukh na de bethe."
(But I'm afraid that..... in the end I should not hurt them)

"I trust you. You will not. Give her what she deserves. Apologize to her for what you have done till now. I know she will forgive you. Just give a chance to your married life."

I nodded.

"Now you go."

I got up from the seat.

"But remember I didn't step back from the condition I gave you before," Babasa said.

I let out a frustrated breath and nodded.

~

I lay on my bed, and Babasa's words were roaming in my mind.

Should I give this marriage a chance? Whenever My mind wanted to say no, Muskaan's innocent face came into my view. How happy she was today just because of a gift.

I can't. I can't snatch this happiness from her. She deserves the world.

This time, I will take risks and listen to my heart.

I will give this marriage a chance. I don't let my fear destroy my marriage. I will make sure to fulfill the happiness she deserves.
I will try my best to make her happy.

When I determined everything. Suddenly one thing took my mind. Today is the first serious conversation with Babasa after my marriage conversation with him.

"How long will you stay like this?"

"Forever. "

"So you think this is the solution? "

"Maybe"

"So you are also wanted to be a king of Jaipur."

I looked at him confusingly.

"So, do you know there is something called duty? Duty, you have to do for being a king and being a king."

"What?"

"You belong to a royal family, and you are the only candidate for being a king of Jaipur. There is no other candidate for being a King of Jaipur. "

"What are you trying to say?"

"Ok. Let's come to the point. You can't be a king without giving an heir."

I furrowed my brows.

"Yes. To be a king, you have to give an heir or heiress to the Pratap family. "

"I never heard this type of thing before."

"Yes because you never need to."

"What if I can't give an heir or heiress, then what will happen? "

"You know Tara Doesn't want this type of position, and she is not even married. And I'm old now. I can die at any time. No one can be a king. Not even your kakasa."

"What do you mean by not even kakasa? It can't happen. Jaipur has many candidates for a king position, so why no one can be a king."

"Because it's already written on the royal will. I'm now a king. So no one can be a king in my generation. But in your generation, if no one can complete the requirement as they will, the whole of Jaipur will go under the Government. No royals can rule Jaipur. So if I die and you don't give me an heir, then our Jaipur will not be ruled by Prataps."

"It can't happen. My whole life, you prepared me to be a king, and now you are saying this. I can't leave my people to the government. The government will never take care of my people. Jaipur will always ruled by Prataps."

"I have a solution for that."

"What?"

"Get married and give an heir to Prataps. Then Jaipur will be yours."

"This can't happen. "

"Then leave the people to government. "

I shook my head.

"The thing I'm saying to you is for your good. It's good for Jaipur."

He forwarded a photo in front of me. I didn't even look at the photo.

"She is Muskaan Singh Rathore, Princess of Udaipur, sister of your old classmate. You have already seen her at Akash's wedding." Hearing the name of Akash, my blood boiled in anger."She will be 21 soon."

"She is so much younger than me. "

"It's her perfect age to give a child birth. She is a physically strong and well-mannered girl. Your maasa also likes her."

Finally, I looked at the photo, and again, my breath hitched like the first time I saw her in a pink lehenga. She is pretty. She is beautiful like an angel. But she doesn't deserve a life partner like me.

"What do you say?

" Is there not any other option? "

"If I have, I don't tell you to get married. If you want your Jaipur then marriage is the first step. "

I've to be selfish. I can't let go of my Jaipur like this. I have to marry and give them an heir.

"Ok"

"Then we will go to Udaipur with the proposal. Think about it again. I won't let you tell me your decision again. Are you ready to get married? And if you're  ready, then are you ready to marry her, or we find another girl?"

Again I become selfish. I can't let her go. If I had to marry, I would only marry her. Only she will be the Queen of Jaipur and the mother of my child.

I looked at the photo.

"I'll marry her."

At that time, I did not even know that I already had feelings for her. But I never imagined that she would accept the proposal so early. But now, I won't regret it. I'll try my best in this relationship.
