Jayveer's POV

I forgot everything when she was around me. But her one question dragged me to my past.

Maybe one day, I will have the courage to tell her everything and why I kept my distance after our marriage.

Currently, I'm waiting for her near the car. We are going for a long drive. One thing I get to know. When we went for dinner that day, I got to know she likes late-night air. That's why I planned this.

She came in a long kurta and jeans. She looks younger in these clothes.

We settled in the car.

"Open the window. "

She looked at me in amusement and then opened her side window.

The drive was blissful. I never thought her company could give that much peace.

We come far away from our home. I stopped the car near a tea stall. Their tea is my favorite.

She looked at me.

"Let's have some tea. "

"In the middle of the road. "

"There will be no problem. Guards are also with us and I come here often. "

She nodded.

I ordered two cups of tea, and we sat on the bench, which was near the stall.

"So you come here often," she asked.

I nodded.

" Why?"

"I love their tea and after a long drive, It's a need."

"You know, I also like long drives but my family never gave me this permission, not even with guards. "She huffed.

"Not even with your brothers."

"Ansh Bhaisa was always busy with his work and came from the office late at night. So  I never tried to ask him. And Vihaan Bhaisa was in Delhi for his studies. So I never get that opportunity. "

The vendor came and gave us our teas.
"Don't worry. Now I will take you on long drives."

A shine came into her eyes.
"Really?"

I smiled and nodded.
"Now drink your tea. It will be cold."

She nodded and took a sip.
"On my god. This is tasty. "

"Now finish it. Then I will take you somewhere."

"Where?"

"You'll get to know. "

"Tell me na."

I shook my head.

She huffed.

We came out of the car. We are now in front of our own forest area's gate.

"Why we are here? "

"You'll get to know. "

I unlocked the gate and we entered.

The area is dark and I can sense that she is scared.

I take her arm and intertwine our arms. She holds me tightly as if her life depended on it.

We take more steps, and then we reach our destination.

There is a lake middle of the forest. I wanted to take her here.

Her eyes are shining like the stars in the sky.

"Wow!!! This place is incredible. " She looked at me.

"This forest area is ours. And this lake is the best part. The lake has another type of beauty at night."

"Really? It's ours. OH MY GOD. It’s really beautiful. "

The moon and stars are reflected on the lake, which increases the lake's beauty.

"Come."

I took her to the bench near the lake and we sat there.

Still, she doesn’t leave my arm, so she is still close to me. I placed my free hand on her hand which is holding my arm.

She sensed that she hadn’t left my arm and was about to leave, but I held her hand tightly so that she could not leave my arm.

"Tara di never told me about this place."

"Because she Doesn't know."

"Why?"

"No one is allowed here rather  than me."

"Then why did you take me here? "

"Because you are a part of me now."

She looked at me with her shining eyes. I couldn’t control myself without touching her. I tugged a loose hairstring behind my ear and caressed her cheek with my knuckles without breaking eye contact.

Her lips parted. The more I want to kiss her right now, she also wants the same. I can feel that. I rubbed my thumb on her lower lips. So soft and only mine to devote.

She closed her lips, gulped, and broke eye contact.
"Why no one is allowed  here?"

"Because there are many wild animals. "

She looked at me in horror.
"Are you joking with me? Then Why are you taking me here? " she said loudly and stood.

I pulled her on my lap and she gasped. She placed both hands on my shoulder. I  hold her by her waist.

"I am always with you to protect you. So no need to have any tension. "

"What if they come here now?" she said in a tense tone.

"They don't come near the lake. But if you continue talking this loudly. In a few minutes, they will come and start munching you."

"Hawww.Why will they only munch on me? They'll also start munching you. " She said with determination. "

"They will not because they know me. "

"That's not fair."

I smiled and pinched her nose.
"I am here with you so no need to be tensed. Okay?"

She nodded.

"Just don't be loud." I chuckled.

She gives me a thumbs up.

"Abh choriye hume. " She started wiggling in my hold, but I held her tightly.
(Now leave me)

"Why? Isn't my lap comfortable for you?"

"You will have pain in the next few days for keeping my weight  on your lap."

"My dumbbells have more weight than you. But the best part is they are not soft like you. "

Her cheeks get red. Her face flustered. Looking so adorable.

We sat there like that for half an hour. I never felt this type of peace before, having her this close to me.

I wish I could hold her like this forever.

She cleared her throat.
"I think we should leave. It's already late now. You have an office tomorrow, and I also have college. "

I nodded and made her stand.
"So we can come here again." I raised my brows.

She nodded.

That's what, I need. I need her close to me, far from the world. Only near my heart.
